KAIWA NO SATO This old house is an indigo mansion built in the first year of the Bunsei era (1804) during the heyday of indigo. The main house and the sleeping area (a barn where indigo was stored) have been demolished due to aging, but the historic living room and garden have been preserved to allow guests to experience a little bit of that time, and it is used as a farmhouse inn. In the old days, "Indigofera" grew on the fertile land of the Yoshino River basin in Tokushima Prefecture, bringing great wealth to Tokushima Prefecture (Awa Province). Ancient documents on indigo, including cultural properties, are also available for viewing. Enjoy the charm of that era and Indigofera. ＝＝＝＝ Feel free to pick and eat seasonal fruits and vegetables from the adjacent fields. * Please enjoy as many figs as you like in summer and autumn. ▶ This is a Japanese house for rent at the foot of Yashima, along the Aohiki River. It is ideal for those who enjoy the Shikoku Pilgrimage, those who want to relax away from everyday life, and for remote work. ▶ At the guest house, you can enjoy the traditional Japanese lifestyle with tatami mats and shoji. The kitchen, bath and toilet are modern and functional, and Wi-Fi is also available. ▶ The guest house faces a lush garden where you can fully enjoy the beauty of the four seasons in Japan. ▶ Check-in time is from 3 pm to 7 pm. The host will guide you to the guest house. If you arrive after 7 pm, please check in by yourself. In that case, the entrance to the guest house will be open and the key will be left in a predetermined place in the guest house. ▶ Guests arriving by car should enter the premises and park in front of the white car stop in the space on the right. ▶ After check-in, please enter the names, addresses, and contact information of all guests in the guest register. ▶ We do not charge accommodation fees for children under 2 years old (futons, towels, etc. are not provided). Please let us know when you make a reservation. ▶ We rent out barbecue supplies (rental fee 1,000 yen per person).

The price is the same for 1 or 2 people, and an additional charge per person will be incurred from the 3rd person. The first floor is the living room and the second floor is the bedroom. Size: 108.5 ㎡ (1st floor 85 ㎡, 2nd floor 23.5 ㎡) If you need more than one bedroom, there are 2 Japanese-style rooms with 10 tatami mats in the back building (with separate entrances, toilets, and verandas), so you can use a total of 3 bedrooms. Please let us know at the time of booking. A total of 160 m² of space is available with an additional 51.5 m². For breakfast, we provide coffee, bread, butter, and eggs from Oniwa Farm. Use of the kitchen is limited to guests staying 3 days or more. ✳ ︎ A separate fee is charged for the use of facilities such as meals, meetings, workshops, events, and photography with people other than guests. It is also close to Aizumi IC and Itano IC, so it is an easily accessible place. The 1st floor has a kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom with a drying function, and toilet. The second floor has 3 single beds, The 3rd floor is equipped with 1 single bed and 1 semi-double bed (single futon). Enjoy the size of a suite and the price of a business room. Please be quiet as the facility is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and noise can be heard outside the facility at night.
