I've updated the photos of the room. The bunk bed in the Western-style room has been removed and replaced with two single beds. The maximum number of guests has been changed to 6. If you already have a reservation for 7 or more people, you can stay with the same number of people without any changes. Naoshima has become a tourist destination not only for Japan but also for the whole world. What changes, what doesn't. Each blends naturally, and the air flows in a way that can only be experienced in Naoshima. You'll feel it even more by staying on Naoshima. Sakura-so opened in the summer of 2014. It is a guest house with a nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere. 5-minute walk from the center of Naoshima's Miyanoura. It is located in a very quiet place. There is a Japanese-style room with futons (up to 4 people) and a Western-style room with 2 single beds (2 people). You are renting the entire property. This is a rental cottage by the sea on Naoshima, a sacred place for art. There are two buildings, one on the ocean side and one on the mountain side, and Lani is in the building on the mountain side. Free parking is available on site, which is rare in Naoshima. The building is a detached two-story building, with 6 beds in the bedroom on the ground floor and 2 futon sets in the Japanese-style room on the second floor, accommodating up to 6-8 people. There is a family-type kitchen and washing machine, so it can be used not only for family and friends, but also for student training camps, seminar trips, etc. It is a 3-minute walk from OHANA to the Venetian Art Site and a 2-minute walk from the nearest bus stop, making it an ideal base for sightseeing while staying on Naoshima. We fully renovated the interior of this three-story house, which at first glance looks like a church. You can also enjoy the works of Katsushika Hokusai, which is also a Japanese 1,000 yen bill throughout the facility, and ceiling paintings designed with a pattern of kimono. There are many popular restaurants around our facility, a 6-minute walk to Uno Station and convenience store (7-Eleven), and an 8-minute walk to the ferry terminal at Uno Port. Uno Port has good access not only to Naoshima, but also to Teshima, Shodoshima, and Takamatsu, making it an ideal location for an art trip.
