At the side of the house you arrive at the entrance of the Bed and Breakfast. You enter the hall where you can hang up coats. Beside this is the fridge. Go straight to enter the two-person bedroom. On the left is the bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. On the right is the pantry/ kitchenette where you can make coffee and tea. A sliding door opens onto your terrace where you can enjoy breakfast or the evening, enjoying the evening sun in nice weather. From the hall turn right. This takes you into the family room where breakfast is served in the morning at the dining table. This room has a one-person bed which can be extended into a two-person bed. 🌳 Our shepherd’s hut ‘De Lachende Specht’ is tucked away in the woods, offering peace and privacy. From here, you can walk or cycle straight into nature: to nearby sand dunes, lovely villages or wide open landscapes. The lively city of Breda is just 15 minutes by bike. The accommodation has a bathroom, cozy box bed and kitchenette. Enjoy the sounds of birds, playful squirrels and all the greenery around you. Gilze is located between the major cities of Tilburg and Breda and half an hour from Antwerp and Rotterdam. Amusement park "De Efteling" and Safari Park "De Beekse Bergen" are also very close by.

The Holidayhouse is spacious, approximately 65m2 and has all the amenities you need, is suitable for 5 people (+ 1 baby) and was originally an old farmhouse. You have your own parking, entrance, small kitchen, living room, toilet, shower, two bedrooms and garden with terrace.

Go to the Efteling, the Loonse and Drunsense dunes, for example, and enjoy the tranquility and good atmosphere of this cottage and the garden when you return.
