Barn vacation rentals in Jutland

This is a truly special Airbnb. If you’re deciding between a few places—choose this one. You won’t regret it, especially if you’re traveling with children. We stayed here during Spring Break with our three kids, and it felt like a wonderland for them. The large garden and rustic playground were perfect for our outdoorsy crew. We were also lucky enough to be visiting right after the hosts’ dog had a litter of puppies—not a typical feature, of course, but it added so much joy to our stay. The bedrooms were cozy and comfortable, and the house had everything we needed. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals at home. Even with a few farm animals wandering around, the mornings and evenings were peaceful and quiet. The hosts are absolutely lovely, and we truly can't recommend this place enough. You’re going to love your stay!

Nice room as in a hotel, with its own bathroom/toilet. Really delicious. Large living room, but didn't use it as the room was so nice and was alone and a somewhat shy teenager.

We spent 4 days with a total of 8 friends on the farm. Very nice rustic and great, quiet location. We found the location, completely in the countryside perfect! There are several fireplaces, grills and ample seating for indoors and outdoors! The table tennis games after grilling were a lot of fun. There is everything you need in the house - even with so many people. Even in the rain you can eat very nicely in the living/dining area. The garden behind the house offers great views and is very nicely laid out! Communication with Stine was also great and straightforward. We enjoyed it very, very much and we definitely recommend it! It's a paradise for people and dogs!

My husband, our dog and I stayed (unfortunately only) in Jørgen's house for 6 days. We would have liked to have stayed longer. This house – and especially the location – is just magical! On the 1st day, you want to "tweak" all the time because you can't believe how lucky you are right now. On the 2nd day you want to constantly photograph everything (the view, the candles, the light mood, the moon through the wonderful screen:-), the outdoor shower, the hot tub... always the consideration "Which cozy corner do we sit in now?“ (We tried everything and found all the corners wonderful!). You explore the large property, draw your circles. The wider area (so beautiful!!) was on the 3rd day – actually just to look forward to the house again during the hike/exploration. On the 4th, 5th and 6th day we let this fantastic place work on us, relaxed and were just happy in Jørgen's wonderful house. ... we will be back. Thanks, Jørgen!!!

We had a wonderful Christmas time at Mia's place, beautifully situated in Syltemae Ådal, lovely rooms (especiallay the 1st floor, stunning), and a nice, warm ambiance.

As a group of friends, we had a wonderful getaway in Karin's vacation home! The apartment was clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was super equipped so we could cook great together. Only on the sofa it got a little cuddly at the ninth sometimes, but that wasn't a problem for us. The beds were very cozy and big enough for everyone. The bathroom is a little small but it was enough for all of us. The beach is about 5 min walk, so super quick to reach. Otherwise, the surroundings were pleasantly quiet. So in January we didn't see many other people. The communication with Karin was great and easy. Upon our arrival, she was able to greet us briefly and we were able to look forward to a small gift. We felt completely comfortable during our stay and can definitely recommend the cottage!

1st class place - beautifully restored - plenty of nice space - great surroundings. Can recommend Gorm’s place Very highly. Easy to deal with and lots of privacy.

Super nice apartment, with a lovely kitchen with everything you need to do with, there was nothing missing. lovely quiet surroundings. i can definitely recommend the place for short and longer stays.

The house is very spacious, with lots of sleeping options and very comfortable. For families it is perfect, children can play in the large garden and there are many toys in the house. The host is very lovable and easy to reach :) highly recommended!

We booked the beautiful country house for a weekend in nature to relax and forget everyday hustle and bustle and were not disappointed, quite the contrary! As soon as we arrived, we were met with Christian, also hosts, and were received so warmly that we felt right at home from there. Christian checked in with us on short notice. Our apartment (no. 3) was an absolute dream and almost even nicer than the pictures showed. The entire property is prepared with so much dedication and attention to detail that we quickly decided that this will not be our last stay. We particularly enjoyed the evenings in front of the fireplace in the shared fireplace room. There was absolutely nothing missing! The tips for the area, e.g. the fastest way to the beach or restaurant recommendations were also super helpful. We are already looking forward to the next visit! :-)

The place is magical! We arrived at night in heavy rain. Waking up in that house, with the sun the next morning was very nice. Cozy! Highly recommended. Too bad it was the yoga break period and we couldn't take a class. It'll be for next time!

Daniel personally welcomed us and welcomed us. We (6 adults, 3 infants) felt very comfortable on his farm on the edge of the nature reserve and surrounded by peace and quiet and were able to use the large garden perfectly. The house is cozy and well equipped. Highly recommend!

We have a very relaxing few days away. The apartment is well divided and really nicely decorated. As big city, we've been looking for and found seclusion. Nevertheless, Flensburg is only a stone's throw away and you can reach the Baltic Sea in 20 minutes by bike.

Thank you for two great nights. It was a large apartment with most of what you need, if you stay longer, however, closets to unpack in. The place was cozy with both cows, horses and chickens nearby. The kids really enjoyed the place and the host was nice and helpful.

Juhlsgaard is a lovingly prepared small property. We lacked nothing. The apartments are tastefully furnished and offer a wonderful haven. We felt very comfortable. Amenities are outstanding compared to other experiences.

We spent 4 nights as a larger family with children in the wonderful Cäcillienhof. Everything was prepared to the highest satisfaction and equipped as described. Numerous seating and a long table invited you to cozy gatherings. We were completely undisturbed and were able to move freely on the farm. We use the large lawn in front of the house to play football and some games of Viking chess. A short walk takes you directly to the sea. We would book and recommend the property again anytime!
