Excellent host and the backyard is very nice for outdoor meals. The walk to the beach is no more than 10 minutes, a nice bakery on the way to the beach. The river that is right next to the property is very quiet. The train tracks are right next to the house(train runs every 10 minutes) but the host has double windows in all rooms to lower the sound tremendously. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay as the other 3 guest parties were a joy to converse with in the backyard. Two things to consider for your stay: 1.) Can you handle the train noise? every 10 minutes. 2.) Ask about bathroom size picture of the room you're renting. That backyard was worth it for me. like a mini arboretum.

Unser Aufenthalt bei Agnese war sehr schön! Die Wohnung ist perfekt ausgestattet und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Wir waren dort Ende Oktober/ Anfang November, sodass es schon etwas kalt war. Es gab einen Ofen, bei dem wir selbst das Feuer entfachen und versorgen mussten. Das war kein Problem. Die Umgebung war sehr ruhig, jedoch liegt das Haus direkt an einer größeren Straße. Im Haus und auch im Schlafzimmer war es für uns jedoch kein Problem. Wir würden die Unterkunft jedem empfehlen!

House was perfect for us. Fence around The yard was great for a dog. Shared yard wasnt problem, yard is big and very beautiful. We used grill outside and had some cucumber from garden. Beach is near and extremly beautiful. Houst was really friendly and house as descripted. Love to come again.

We were very pleased with our stay at Karlis’ house, which features a charming garden, a cozy terrace, and comfortable upstairs bedrooms. We stayed for three days with our dog, who was warmly welcomed. The nearby forest, with its many scenic trails, was perfect for walks. The peaceful, nature-filled area just outside Riga was ideal for relaxing. The house’s rustic feel, especially on the lower floor, added to its charm. The front door was an unforgettable, authentic detail—it felt like stepping into a Grimm’s fairy tale. The house has been modernized with care, preserving its unique "cigar box" character, especially at the lower floor. Karlis' house is truly a gem, and it was a delight to learn about the artist who once lived there and see his remarkable sculptures still on display.

Cosy, clean, quiet place. There was everything for living. Very satisfied with our stay.

Sehr schöner Ort. Man kann zur Ruhe kommen und entspannen. Vom Garten der Anlage ist man direkt am Sandstrand. Joggen und wandern ist perfekt möglich. Am Haus links sind 2 "Wachhunde", ein Husky und ein shiba inu. Beide lassen sich sehr sehr gerne streicheln durch den Zaun zum Meer. Die Zeit im Dune Castle ist sehr wertvoll und absolut zu empfehlen. Die Besitzerin ist unglaublich hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Eine echte Perle in Lettland. Als kleinen Tip, ihr solltet Johns Chef hall zum Essen gehen. Seit 2024 ist Michelin in Lettland. Johns Hall hat 1 Stern, und das 13 Gänge Menü ist ein Traum. Vorsicht, ihr werdet Tannenzapfen essen. Viel Spaß in diesem wunderbaren Schloss .

This is a great place to stay in Jurmala! The railway station is a few minutes away on foot, the sea and the beach are about 10-15 minutes away. Right behind the fence starts a beautiful forest, where you could walk and pick very tasty blueberries. The apartment itself is divided into 3 rooms - a bedroom, a living room with a sofa and a kitchen with another sofa. There is an absolutely stunning balcony with dining table and sofa. There is a gas cooker on the balcony and it was a real pleasure to cook breakfast there in the morning. Many thanks to the owner for his hospitality, it was a pleasure to talk to him about various things.

This cozy cabin is just perfect for a family woth a dog/dogs. The yard is large and great for your furry friends to run around. The home itself is very cozy and you will feel right at home. We had no problems at all during our stay. We will definitely try to book with Ēvalds again and come here during the summer months. The beach is literally 100m from the home! Of course Kauguri isn't famous for their cafes or restaurants but if you want to just get away and sit or walk on the beach all day this place is perfect!

Pavisam noteikti rekomendēju arī citiem ceļotājiem. Dzīvoklī ir viss nepieciešamais, lai komfortabli varētu uzturēties, sākot no virtuves piederumiem līdz pat higiēnas līdzekļiem vannas istabā. Par visu ir padomāts, lai uzturēšanās būtu komfortabla pat ja kaut kas ir aizmirsies no nepieciešamajām lietām. Kā arī saimniece ir ļoti jauka un pretimnākoša.
