Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Johnson County

This property has ample indoor and outdoor space, lot's of privacy, and excellent views! We enjoyed the various seating options throughout the days and evenings. The interior decorations were enjoyable! Host communication from checkin to checkout was excellent and very timely. The place is aptly named as the river views are unmatched in this area and can be enjoyed from multiple vantage points. The fire pit worked great for the evening! We will keep this place on our list for return trips.

Beautiful home in a lovely neighborhood. Very quite and peaceful. We were in town to attend an ATU football game. Great location for that. Close enough to be convenient and far enough away to be relaxing. Billie Ann was a great host. Very thoughtful and communicative. Hope to stay again sometime.

I booked the cabin for my son to use for his wedding. It was close to the venue. He and his groomsman used it to get ready and relax before the wedding.

We had an awesome stay. Enjoyed hanging out with friends who live in the area on the large front porch and at the Oark store. Will definitely stay there again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin! It was a wonderful experience for our entire family. It was private, quiet, and had everything we would want for a family spring break trip. Kitchen was well stocked, plenty of linens, plenty of everything. Favorite part was the private boat dock, but the kids also loved the loft area and the bunkbeds setup. We would absolutely recommend this cabin and would stay here again!

This beautiful country house was so peaceful and clean whenever we arrived. We used the fire pit and the grill which was conveniently placed. The master Tub was probably my favorite part of the house. I will be returning and highly recommend staying here!

We had an amazing stay at Travis’ family home. It was very serene and peaceful. We rode out side by side all over his place and on the dirt roads in the national forest. We were always seeing something new and had tons of wildlife to see. The water was pristine. We could walk the creek and play in the water all day, everyday. There always seems to be something missing in the kitchen at airbnbs and Travis had it all!!!! We never needed anything because it was already there for us. You can feel the history in the home and I imagine how amazing it’d be to grow up there. His dad did an amazing job! It’s all worth it! Spend the money and stay at this farm. You won’t regret it!

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It had plenty of room for the 2 of us. It was neat, clean, and felt homey. The bed was super comfortable. It was close to restaurants and shopping, yet still out in the woods and private. We got to meet the owner who was very friendly. We would stay there again.

Great place right on the Mulberry with plenty of wildlife. More than enough room for a small family. Very close to Oark General Store, Byrd's, and Mountain View Bistro (walk to the bistro - highly reccomend). Near some FSR's / trails for UTV/ATV riding. Will be back!

Sweet little cabin perfect for starry nights by the fire and coffee on the porch taking in the view! Super-comfortable beds…we’ve stayed in lots of short-term rentals and these were our favorites. Stock up on food and enjoy the peace and quiet of the woods at Moonhull!

We’ve stayed in Airbnbs around the world, and we can honestly say that the Stargazer Cabin is one of the best we’ve ever been to. For this off-the-beaten-path family of travelers, this checked all the boxes: gorgeous setting, spectacular sunsets, campfire ring, walkable to trails, peaceful and away from crowds, well-stocked and beautifully designed cabin. Bonus: great DVD and board game selection, and all the hiking guidebooks we needed (sorry, we are 100% responsible for the very thumbed-through waterfall guidebook!). On top of that, man, did Chay ever set a high bar for Airbnb hosts!! Proactive recommendations for hiking before and during our trip, tidbits of great history about the property, and even sent us home with ideas for where to stop on our roadtrip back home. We fell in love with the Ozarks, thanks to Chay and Stargazer. As our 7 year old says, “tell them we one million percent recommend it!”

This was a perfect getaway weekend, in a gorgeous home. It was mostly private (neighbors were far enough away to not impede on privacy), quiet and peaceful. Although I'm afraid of large dogs, the two visiting from the neighbors were sweet and friendly giants. I ended up cuddling with them and it even felt like they could be therapy dogs. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our first romantic weekend away and it was perfect, especially evenings in the hot tub. I definitely recommend and would love to come back again!
