Located in the 2nd view of Bukchon, this hanok yard is filled with old trees from Changdeokgung Palace. It is located in a quiet place where you can hear the chirping of birds. There is no inconvenience at all to stay. Bukchon Hanok Village, Insa-dong, Ikseon-dong, and the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art are all within a 10-minute walk.

We had some issues with the AC unit when we first arrived. We were not used to having a remote and pointing to the unit to turn it on. It was frustrating at first since we just arrived from a soccer game and was hot and tired. But Kim was very responsive and took the time to show up to the location to explain how the AC unit worked since there was some difficulty communicating via messages. There was an onsite washer and dryer that was communicated prior to arrival for us to use during our stay. It was very convenient since we were traveling for a month in Korea and Japan. He even offered to bring us detergent due to our troubles when we first checked in. I would say the issues we had were more cultural issues since this was the first time we traveled to Korea from the U.S. The location is great if you are traveling with friends or adults. A lot of outdoor drinking and eating nearby. We traveled with a child so was not ideal but it is close to the subway station which was convenient.

Ubytovanie bolo veľmi pekne, poloha na preskúmanie pamiatok ktoré musíte v seoule vidieť bola super. Určite odporúčam pri návšteve seoulu vyskúšať aj takéto tradičnejšie ubytovanie. Komunikácia bola rýchla a nápomocná.

The host was very communicative in the best way. Soft music was playing as we entered, which added to the magic of the space. Overall, we were grateful for the opportunity to stay in a traditional Hanok and were very comfortable. It is walkable to many cultural institutions, restaurants, and cafes. As first-timers to Seoul, we’d want to stay here or the neighborhood it’s located in on the next round.
