The host was great. We needed to check in early and that was not a problem. The location is the best! Our daughter got married at Bayou Rum Distillery/Event Center. The house was is a quiet, safe neighborhood less than 5 minutes from the venue and about 10 miles from Lake Charles. PERFECT

We absolutely loved this beautiful well kept historic home!! There was plenty of space to accomodate our entire family, the home was clean and our hosts thought of everything! This home felt like HOME and and we treated it as such! We will definitely stay again and thank you to our hosts for allowing us to share your home for a few days!

Such a great place!!! We were in town for a class reunion. The house was so clean and well decorated! The coffee station was awesome! The beds were super comfortable. The bathroom was stocked with toiletries. They had so many extras- I.e. ice machine, towel warmer, coffee pot with milk frother, robes and so many more! It was easy to get to everything in Jennings. It was located on a busy street but had the back entrance driveway. The carport was on the back of the house and was a great place to hang out. We will definitely be back!

Loved this cute tiny house. Would stay here again if ever in the area. Booked it 12 hours prior to arrival, didn't get confirmed until about 11am the day of arrival, but it all worked out. The free combo meals to mcdonalds was a very nice touch. Highly recommend

We would stay here again. If I had to pick something negative to say it would be the door. You had to be very careful to shut the door all the way or it would pop back open. It happened to me once. Luckily the place and the general area felt safe so I didn’t worry about it, but I did double check the door after that.

Clean and comfortable. Not a lot of seating if you were going to use it for the full occupancy of 10 people/the couch only seats 3, but we were comfortable and able to make it work! Hosts were super responsive/quick and incredibly friendly. Loved sitting out back looking at the community lake during the mornings. Neighborhood was incredibly quiet, conveniently located near our meeting location and lots of options for dining out etc. overall a great experience and will definitely use this same host for future trips to the area!

My dogs and I had a great stay here. Hope to return in the future. Pristine setting. Friendly chickens. Fishing available, although I didn’t partake. My dogs and I were at a hunting competition during the day and return to rest at the sugar shack. Great place to do so. Hope to return in the future.

This is a beautiful little place. Everything was there. She had coffee/ snacks/ . I would stay there again . This place is central to surrounding towns who have many antique shopping and also Cajun restaurants close by. If you’re looking for a place to have quality time with your spouse this is the place to get away. All you need is your clothes. We are looking forward to one day stay again.

Nita's Rest is appropriately named. It is very relaxing and peaceful. We loved spending time on the screened-in patio for morning coffee and evening cocktails while listening to the birds and enjoying the view of the lake. We slept better than we had in a long time as the beds were very comfortable! And everything you need is there to cook up a good meal if you so desire! We'll definitely be back!

We truly enjoyed our Mother/Daughter "Spending Quality Time" mini-vacay at Brad's place. The pictures do the place no justice! The peace of being hidden away in a small country town and the serenity of waking up watching the sunrise over the lake was priceless. The girls spent every moment they could in the pool or swimming in the lake... Brad was an awesome host and I would recommend his place to anyone!!! 10/10 and COMPLETLY SATISFIED
