Private 2 Bedroom Bungalow in Monticello FL

WendiRating, 5 stars5 days ago
An absolutely charming cottage filled with antique furniture. Small but spacious enough for four adults. The live oaks and quaint downtown shops were fascinating! Quiet, little traffic and truly comfortable, friendly town and home! Thank you Kat. Oh and our month old one pound foster kittens loved it too! 🍼😻

Nature Lover's Aucilla River Beauty

JudsonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Moorings at Mandalay is a unique place. It’s a bit remote but that is easily understood in advance simply by viewing the listing pictures and area map. Quiet and tranquil. A great place to “get away from it all” for a few days. Nature and wildlife are abundant. The house literally sits on the river’s edge. Step out the back sliding glass door and onto the dock. Have a quiet sit and simply watch the river go by all while hoping to see the next osprey, another mullet jump, or a small group of redhead ducks fly upriver! I didn’t take time to fish any, but I have fished in the same general area on another close by coastal river and out in the flats for redfish and trout many times over the years. The Aucilla is no doubt a great fishery for this same kind of fishing pursuits, so next time fishing will be planned! Take a pole, and I’d concur with anyone that would recommend hiring a local guide that knows the river. You won’t regret it.
A spacious living area features a comfortable sectional sofa and a coffee table. Two lamps provide lighting beside the sofa, while a decorative wall piece and a clock add interest. A fireplace is situated against a dark green wall, contributing to a relaxed atmosphere.

Lagniappe, Get a little extra!

CatherineRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Very nice home. Spotlessly cleaned. Extremely well stocked kitchen and baths. Walkable location although a little noisy and difficult to turn into when coming from over the hill. However, just a stone’s throw from restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay here again.

The Pearl Cottage - kid and pet friendly!

BarbaraRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My husband and I had a very comfortable one night stay. I specifically liked the dog covers for the living room furniture. Even though our dog has been trained to NOT get up on sofas, we used the coverings as a precaution. This house has been modernized in a good way. The bathroom has a skylight. The kitchen has additional electrical outlets, new counters, and better lighting. The backyard has a chain link fence ensuring that our dog can be let outside without constant supervision. The washer and dryer are on the screened covered back porch (and not in the "shed"). The queen bed and linens were quite clean and comfy! The other room has a fullsize/twin bunk bed. The home can easily hold a family of 5. Towels for each person were already laid out on the beds.

Fern Hollow Acres A peaceful retreat in the woods

GretchenRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
This is a secluded setting and spotlessly clean. Better than described, it was spacious and comfortable and quite near our wedding address. We arrived quite late to all of the lights on in a welcoming manner that enabled quick entry. Our Host was always available to answer any questions. I recommend without reservation to anyone seeking a stay in a quiet clean and spacious house

Endless Adventures at Micco Campground!

Overall a wonderful space. It’s enough away from the main road while also not being hidden! I would recommend having an off-road vehicle to get there easier (truck, suv, quad, dirt bike, etc.). Amazing price for an amazing experience!

The Knotted Oak Cottage- Fenced & Dog Friendly

The cottage was very nicely appointed, cozy and homey; and we enjoyed staying for the weekend in March '25. Nice location and the fenced backyard was convenient for our dog, Merle.

Peace, quiet & nature at the Dream House

ReedRating, 5 stars15 months ago
This is an amazing place to stay! It’s a “studio” cabin with everything you could need! It’s decorated very well and has a coffee maker, microwave, hot plates, and grill with charcoal provided! The property is really the best part. From the house there is a gentle slope, dappled with massive trees, covered in Spanish moss, that ends down at a small pond. There is a fire pit with rocking chairs halfway down the several hundred yard wall to the water and by the water there is more furniture to use to comfortably enjoy the peace and quiet! There are trails going in every direction, I ended up spending a couple of hours each day wandering along the trails enjoying the changes in scenery. And of course the porch with comfortable chairs, perfect for coffee and a crossword in the morning while you hear nothing but the birds! I stayed in the winter and oil space heaters were provided which kept the place plenty warm. Everything are the place was awesome! I will definitely stay again!
