Luxury Home Near Marfa and McDonald Observatory

KerryRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
David’s space was so bright and welcoming. Generously sized bedrooms and common rooms, tastefully decorated with a nod to the region, all of the amenities, with small personal touches like homemade granola and fresh milk in fridge when we arrived. David was excellent at communicating. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

Starry Night

KimberlyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
A group of 6 of us stayed here for Cyclefest. The house was clean and spacious. The starry night skies, sunsets and sunrises were beautiful! We enjoyed our nights around the fire pit. We were close to everything we needed and the house had everything we needed! Mark was responsive and helpful! I loved this place!!! I will definitely be back!

Downtown Rock House

DavidRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a very enjoyable stay at Alia's place. Everything was as described and the area was peaceful. The home is an older home that has been nicely remodeled. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was adequately supplied for cooking your own meals. The only thing we would have liked is if there had been a love seat or some kind of comfortable seating in the same room as the TV. The TV is in the dining area and the couch is in another room that is also used as a bedroom. However, we knew this from having seen the pictures, so we were not surprised. You also will want to bring your own coffee and creamer and laundry detergent. It was rather cold when we were there, and the central heat worked great. We enjoyed playing games on the dining room table while watching snow flurries from the windows! The home was very clean and convenient for seeing the sights of Ft. Davis. We recommend Alia's rock house to those who visit the area.

Point of Rocks Ranch HQ

NikkiRating, 5 stars1 month ago
If you’re looking for an old fashioned ranch home, this is the place for a serious quiet place to stay. I will say there is no internet or phone service out there so this is for people who want a quiet place to relax away from the stressful thoughts that you have and just breathe. It is a dirt road so please make sure to have good tires for a little bit of rough terrain. This is the place to be. I loved the setup of the place and me being the mom that I am had my children upstairs with their own bathroom as well. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely want to come back again. The night sky is absolutely stunning especially if you’re those who enjoy the dark sky which unfortunately I didn’t really take good pictures of the night sky but took some video. This was an amazing adventure and I felt at ease and not too far from the McDonalds Observatory.

Casa Hermosa Starlight Suite

WalterRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We found the bed comfortable and the surroundings very quiet and peaceful--even on weekdays with a school nearby. Everything is close by, but there are also good restaurants less than 30 minutes away. Fort Davis has a lot of interesting attractions. Could have stayed longer. Somethings are hidden away--like the toaster--check in the cupboards.
