We stayed here for Derby weekend and couldn’t have been happier with it. Only thing we wished was different was a longer booking! Beautiful views of the Ohio River and very peaceful environment. Darlene was great with communication and instruction. Would recommend this stay to anyone looking to get away from all of the city commotion.

Andrea is personally invested in your satisfaction as a guest. She is responsive and friendly. She has organized this space with guests in mind: extra hooks, shelves, storage spots, little extras here and there, sensibly placed for easy access. You'll know what I mean when you visit. And do. it was perfect for me and my husband and three teen daughters. Thank you, Andrea!

Took a trip to Holiday World and wanted some place to stay that wasn’t a hotel! The hot tub definitely got used after long days at the park and beds were very comfy. We had a 40-45min drive from the park so I’m not sure we’ll do that again but would return for a Patoka lake getaway!

Wonderful stay, everything was great. Loved the peaceful surroundings, the hot tub, porch swing, fire pit, and various other thoughtful touches and amenities. Host was friendly and checked in with us to ensure all was well. Would stay again for sure.

The cabin was perfect for us! Such a relaxing and peaceful stay! The cabin was one of the cleanest AirBnBs we’ve stayed at. Host was very responsive and check in/check out was a very easy process!

The cabin was immaculate and comfortable. The property is not far from the freeway, but felt like a remote refuge - wonderfully private, with no other cabins or homes in view. The property has great options - the hot tub (new and clean!) and grill are on the patio and there's finished fire pit area in the yard. The cabin had everything needed to cook inside or outside, including a thoughtful assortment of fire and grilling supplies. I'd go back in a hot second.

Beautiful cabin! Had a lot of fun playing horse shoes and hanging in the hot tub. The Green Egg grill is another added bonus. Strongly recommend!

Our group had a great time at Justin's place. We spent most of our time in the barn, which was a perfect set up for our trip. They were also super responsive and helped us figure out a discrepancy to some late adjustments.

We absolutely loved staying here! The cabin was so cozy and welcoming. It had everything we needed and more. The outdoor space is perfect! Waking up and enjoying our coffee under the new pergola was pure bliss! The birds singing created the most enchanting and relaxing atmosphere. It was the perfect way to start each day and truly unwind. Highly recommend taking advantage of this beautiful outdoor space! We couldn't have asked for a better place to call home during our trip. We would highly recommend this spot to anyone!

Wonderful, clean, and quaint cabin. Your surrounding view is beautiful especially with the extra large covered porch with fans! Screen to the cabin is great to hear nature. We will definitely rent this place again. Starr was responsive and helpful. Go to Bruster’s ice cream- about a 17 minute drive from the cabin!

Have stayed at Rich's cabin a few times, and it's great everytime! This is our favorite AirBNB because it's always clean, comfy, and relaxing whether we catch a lot of fish or just a few.

Our family had a great time. The home is delightful. We watched lots of wildlife visiting the property. The list includes deer, a ground hog, a very vocal couple of woodpeckers, squirrels, a raccoon and more birds than I can name. Drinking morning coffee on either the front porch or screened porch was a treat each day. The proximity to the lake is a huge plus. The house was clean, comfortable and cozy. We hope to return soon.

Patty was a wonderful host! She was always responsive to any questions I had, and was always willing to help out with anything! Her cabin was perfect for a small weekend getaway with my husband. We brought our toy poodle with us with no issues. Beautiful property a surrounded by the woods and a small pond. A perfect place for a quiet getaway. I would recommend her place and would love to revisit again!

Billie was a great host! When we had trouble finding the place, she answered the phone immediately and guided us through. When I called her shortly after about the tricky AC, she offered to take time out of what she was doing to set it from her phone. Everything was clean, cozy, and the queen bed was so comfortable!

This is our second stay at this cabin. It was so peaceful. It rained some of the time, but it was so cozy listening to the rain inside the cabin. We had a nice Easter brunch on the porch. We love staying at all John's cabins.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this cabin for 2 nights, it was very peaceful and the host gave very clear instructions on exactly how to get there. Host was very accommodating and helpful. We loved this cabin it was a nice getaway from a busy city and we would definitely stay here again.

When you need a rest set in life. Brain has Peaceful set up. Large patio fire side pit with a view of nature, stars and music. Each bedroom was roomie and private. Pleanty of personal space. Hot Shower and washer/dry for those hiking socks. Hemlock Cliffs I enjoy cooking outdoor with a beverage. A separate Outside Cooking area off of a full kitchen with a bar set is perfect. It’s a black-stone on the patio. There were so many Games and shuffle board to play. Our Girls Weekend ReSet . Thanks for a Hair down Hike Up weekend ☀️🕶️✨💫🥾 I’ll return soon.

We had a great weekend. It was secluded and beautiful.

My 2 sisters, my niece, and I stayed here for a random girls weekend! There was plenty of room for 4 adult women and the screened in hot tub was so awesome. We ended up not doing a lot of the activities because we didn’t make reservations for kayaks or boats in advance and we were only there 2 days. Overall we had an excellent time and I would definitely stay there again.

We arrived after dark but gps took us right there. We came from checking out French Lick area and West Baden. While sitting in the atrium of that hotel I kind of wished we were staying there until we walked in the door of the beautiful log cabin. It was beautiful! It was clean and cozy. Although it rained the whole visit it was nice to sit on either the front deck or the screened in back deck area. It was private but other places nearby so it wasn’t so secluded it was scary! Will definitely be back for a longer stay. Loved the little bear family on the beam. I would live there full time but thanks for sharing your piece of heaven!!!

We were in the area for a family event and wanted to stay close to the activities. The Wagler Cabin was only 3 miles away from our family and it was a perfect place to be. It was a beautiful location. The property was peaceful and quiet. We loved seeing the wildlife, especially the birds. The cabin had everything we needed and was tidy and clean. Renee was so responsive and helpful too!

Loved the cabin! All the needed amenities and more. Owner was near if needed but did not impede on our privacy. Hopefully we will visit again!!
