The house is located about 2 km from Northern Himos. There is a beach on Lake Päijänne about 500m away. In summer, a rowboat is available by separate agreement.

In the summer, there is a swimming spot about 300 meters away, so it’s easy to go for a morning swim. There’s plenty to do all year round!

Metsä-Loutikko is a dream destination for cyclists, with plenty of route options. Berry-picking and mushroom-hunting areas, as well as small fish-filled lakes, are nearby. Lake Päijänne is close by, and boat launching sites can be found on the Jämsä city website.
