Our stay at the houseboat was absolutely beautiful and peaceful! The moment we stepped inside, my mom instantly loved it — the interiors were warm, cozy, and beautifully done. The room had a very homely vibe and the electric blankets were the cherry on top — they made our stay extra comfortable in the chilly weather. The bathroom was also spotlessly clean, which we really appreciated. Nazir bhai was so kind and helpful — he came to pick us up twice and made sure we were settled in well. He also arranged a beautiful Shikara ride through one of his friends, which was so serene and memorable that we ended up doing it twice! This stay was one of the highlights of our Kashmir trip. We definitely want to come back and spend more days here next time. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Srinagar and looking for a houseboat experience!

It was really a pleasant stay at Tariq’s houseboat. The journey to the boat is amazing. I have to say that Tariq was really responsive & was there all the time to make my stay comfortable & at ease. Greatly appreciate that he assisted me to arrange the Shikara ride at a reasonable price, a must try at Dal Lake. I would recommend to go for 2 Hr. Overall a very good refreshing experience & special thanks to endless Kahwa - it truly made my day :)

Capt.Hameed ji’s New Buckingham Palace will truly be an unforgettable experience for us. Warm air conditioning kept us cozy despite the chilly weather, making it the perfect retreat. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, offering a peaceful ambiance with stunning views of the mountains. What truly made our stay exceptional was the hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family. The home-cooked meals were absolutely delicious. Captain ji went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, always checking in to see if we needed anything. Waking up to serene waters with hot cup of tea/coffee was just blissful. Everything served in hot flask, so you could always enjoy your favourite time complimenting those private balcony views. I travelled with my mom & dad and they really loved it. Highly recommend for anyone looking for something out of the ordinary, with catalyzing comfort and warmth. 10/10. Thank you ji for hosting such an experience.
