It’s a beautiful place with very friendly staff. We had a great time there.

The guest house we booked was closed, however they were very accomodating and took us to a local property and it was beautiful. We were upgraded from a twin to two doubles as they didn't have a twin, very happy with our stay and the service. Breakfast was also delicious!

Can only recommend this place - we could have easily spent several days here. The rooms are lovely, the staff is nice and helpful, and the outdoor area is super nice.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Perfect Stay – Unmatched Hospitality! Staying at Joop’s place in Pingwe Beach was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was unlike anything we’ve ever experienced. Joop and his wife were incredibly kind and generous, even giving us a complimentary upgrade since we were honeymooning—such a thoughtful gesture! Their entire staff was outstanding—attentive, warm, and truly dedicated to making our stay perfect. The location couldn’t have been better, right across from the famous Rock Restaurant and steps away from a stunning, peaceful beach that was perfect for swimming and relaxing. The beach bar at their hotel had such a fun atmosphere with great music, and the pool was a dream! Every detail of our stay was exceptional, from the beautiful surroundings to the genuine kindness and generosity of Joop and his team. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we will definitely be back. Highly, highly recommend!!!

Fleur De Lis Villa was wonderful. The hotel was beautiful, the staff was friendly, and the food was great. The only downside is there is no beach to swim at - you need to travel about 15 minutes away to get to one. That said, there are two lovely small pools and the grounds are small but very nice. The room was exactly what we needed and they went out of their way to make sure our two year old was comfortable as well. I would recommend anyone stay here who wants an out of the way spot to spend a relaxing few days.

Wow it’s hard to put into words how tranquil and amazing this place truly is, from the very first I moment I felt an overwhelming radiance of peace flowing through my body, from the staff to the beautiful scenery everything was amazing and I highly recommend, Asante for the amazing experience and if you are reading this review this is your sign to go ahead and book as I believe all can enjoy.

Fleur was a lovely host! She and her team are very welcoming and warm! She gave us tips to discover Zanzibar. We went with a bike to the villages near Jambiani and discovered a secret place! Wow! The rooms are very big, clean and cosy, just like the rest. We enjoyed the pool very much. The restaurant just opened, with delicious food. We tried different foods in Jambiani, but the food at Zanzistar was the best. Very tasty! Thank you for feeling at home! Keep up the good work! Greetings Bart and Julia

Lovely stay, great location, we left some expensive headphones in the gym and they were looked after by staff and returned later that day. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to staying again
