She called the stream “Slipper Rock”. The newly built cabin sits on 15 acres. Numerous hiking trails & horseback riding trails. Some trails in Daniel Boone National Forest. Bring your own horses. Drive down Kentucky scenic highway 89 South just 9 miles south of McKee. The cabin is newly built and set back in a secluded area with a small creek running right beside the cabin and a larger creek just across the road. The Cabin on Panther Branch is a perfect place to come fish and kayak on the creek. Bring your ATV’s, side by side or dirt bikes and enjoy miles and miles of riding in S-Tree Tower in the Daniel Boone National Forest. We don’t think you will be disappointed with your stay.

This place is right out of a storybook with its' own history book too! Exactly as pictured, this place takes you back in time, where conversation, and breakfast on the front porch were entertainment! We arived Friday and as we drove up and finally saw the cabin, we were in awe .. what a magical place this is! Entering is easy with the simple coded keybox. The cabin is amazing! Mentioned in the house story, were how the origional family insulated the cabin through the years, and to see this , look up, use a flash light on the downstairs cealing and you can see the remnents of it! We watched the night sky, soaked in the clawfoot tub, took an awesome walk in the woods to meet the people who originally lived there, had breakfast, lunch and dinner on the porch and just watched the world pass. We didn't want to leave, but something I take back with me, is to live life a bit quieter, a bit slower and a bit more connected. I can't wait until next year!
