Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Jackson County

Everything was as pictured or listed in the description. My partner and I decided to stay here being in close proximity to Galena, and fell in the love with Elizabeth! With a generous list of recommendations provided by Neha, we were able to make our weekend even more memorable! I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the Galena area. I'm so happy to have had a very positive experience being that this was my first Airbnb stay!

I had a wonderful stay at the Tin Roof Cottage! The fit and finish of the place was impressive—everything felt polished and well thought out. Check-in was a breeze, which made settling in so easy. The amenities were top-notch, adding a lot of comfort to the experience. The location was peaceful and quiet. The cozy vibe made it perfect for unwinding. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

From the moment we walked in, we immediately knew the place was perfect. We had a larger group- 5 couples, so the fact that we all had our own bathroom was huge! Lia is the perfect hostess and addressed any questions we had right away. Even going as far as offering to have a microwave delivered next day when the one in the house wasn't working properly. We will absolutely be booking again with Lia on our next trip to Galena!! Thank you for all you do and going above and beyond our expectations!!

Great location! The porch was where we spend most of our time at the house. The inside was clean and well decorated and furniture was very comfortable. Everything that we needed for our get away to Maquoketa Caves. Definitely worth the trip! Watching the Mississippi River was great. Awesome place to stay! Thank you!

Our second time at this property. Love that each bedroom has a bathroom. Very comfortable beds. Lots of towels in bathrooms. Very quiet at night. Nice you added a coffee bar and huge sectional in living room Highly recommend this property. House while spacious is also very comfortable.

HISTORIC AND SERENE. Enjoyed the mental step back into the past with a great place to stay while in town for a wedding. Solid hosts and very unique stay.

Sandra's home is beautiful! Spacious, tastefully decorated. The home is situated on a sloping hill with trees & flowers to enjoy. One can sit out on the back deck which overlooks all of this beauty and enjoy their morning coffee or evening glass of wine in peace. Sandra is warm & friendly. If your looking for a specific thing she provides guidance. It's also very rare to find a place that includes breakfast but she does and oh what a breakfast! Sandra is an excellant cook and you won't need lunch! Beds are quite comfy and if your as lucky as I was fall asleep to an owl hooting, something you'll never hear in the city. Overall it was a great getaway and well worth the money!

This condo is perfect for a little getaway. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. The bed was comfortable! The jet tub was relaxing and perfect for 2 people! Downfall is that the shower head is VERY small and there’s a weird clunking behind the toilet, in the plumbing.

Steve was a great host. It was a beautiful area, the fishing pond was easy to access and stocked well. The perfect place for a family get-a-way

This quaint, quiet and remarkably cozy cabin was a perfect weekend retreat! We stayed two nights and really enjoyed everything this cabin had to offer. The kitchen allowed us to cook breakfast every morning and pack a lunch for walking the state park only about a mile down the road. Watching the pelicans swim down the Mississippi was morning entertainment from the porch chairs. The relaxing jacuzzi tub was a special treat every evening as we watched our favorite show from the outdoor tv. This cabin was well equipped, decorated thoughtfully and tastefully and provided us with a relaxing get-away! In addition, Pauline was quick to deliver a new coffee maker when the one we had wouldn’t work! Thank you very much for allowing us to stay at your slice of Heaven!

What cute and accommodating place!! Very quiet and peaceful!! And an awesome story behind the humble abode, just ask Cowboy Joe!! It is a great place if you plan on venturing out during the day and want to come back and relax!! The hot tub was awesome. The beds are amazing too. As mentioned before the kitchen is bare except for cooking and eating utensils. So plan for that. We would definitely do a retrun trip!!

We had the BEST time. The cabin and acreage were breathtaking. Our kids had a blast playing, fishing, catching frogs and more. The cabin was small but perfect for our needs, we loved the porch overlooking the view. The kitchen/bathroom are very small (historic property!) but well equipped. Cabin stayed pretty cool even in the heat of the day, but A/C is there if you need it. We would totally visit again! Hosts were very responsive and friendly!

This was a beautiful and perfect place for my husband and I weekend getaway. The host was very nice and helpful and the house was very clean and cute. we would absolutely want to stay there again when we go back that way.

Great spot if you’re looking for a relaxed weekend. It’s awesome for a big family that needs multiple sleeping options. Great location as you’re only a 10 minute drive to Galena and Chestnut mountain. If you’re cooking a dinner at the cabin, definitely check the utensils before purchasing ingredients! :)

Very peaceful and relaxing weekend. Would be an amazing place to visit in the summer or fall with all the beautiful scenery. Would recommend if looking for a relaxing and quiet get away.
