Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Izard County

Words can't describe the beauty of this place. Exactly as described, private, peaceful, and right on the river. We can't wait to come back. The host was super responsive and proactive to all our questions and needs. Thank you for the hospitality.

Nicole’s place is absolutely wonderful—just as described! We arrived ahead of schedule due to weather, and she kindly allowed us to check in early. We were greeted with a freshly baked loaf of sourdough—literally coming out of the oven as we walked in! All the thoughtful little touches made our stay incredibly comfortable and truly felt like a home away from home. She even stocked the fridge with a dozen farm-fresh eggs! We will definitely be back the next time we’re in town. Highly recommend the cottage and the amazing hosts!

My husband and I believe this is our 5th time to stay at this property We clearly love it and feel absolutely at home here, hence the repeat trips to the exact location. It’s perfect for a couple or small group. If you’re looking for AMAZING views, peaceful deck sittings, campfires, beautiful, quiet days and endless starry nights..don’t look at another property. We will return as soon as we can. We get “giddy” when we head to this place and I’m not married to “giddy” dude We leave and head back to our stressful jobs, feeling rejuvenated Thank you, CJ for opening your home

What a fantastic stay, the best AirBnB I have ever stayed in. Loads of space, great bedrooms, full kitchen. The surrounding area is amazing and close to plenty of outdoor activities. I absolutely loved it. My run group is already planning a return trip for a longer stay!

We loved our stay at Hephzibah! Everything was clean and homey! So peaceful and beautiful! We enjoyed our farm fresh eggs for breakfast! While my kids loved roasting marshmallows and hot dogs at the fire pit! Ann always replied back to any questions or concerns! We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend anyone to stay there! Definitely would stay again also if we was in the area! Calico Rock is a hidden gem and so is this little place (Hephzibah) in it!

Honestly, we can say enough about this place. Jim and Amanda are the greatest of hosts, and their cabin is just absolutely gorgeous. This is the 2nd stay that we have had, and always hate leaving. My wife and I would highly recommend this location and would also say that Jim and Amanda are as good as it gets when it comes to friendly and helpful hosts. You will not regret staying with them. I do however, regret that we cannot provide more than 5 stars!

This place was perfect for me and my family, right on the river and next to the calico rock trout dock.

Extremely helpful instructions on how to get to the cabin as well as how to get inside. The cabin was clean and homey with a beautiful view. Local dog is the "park ranger" and made our whole vacation watching him go door to door, checking in on everyone. So friendly! Patricia really went above and beyond writing directions for local fishing/swimming spots and left great recommendations for attractions near by. We will definitely be back with our kids next time!

The owner was gracious enough to let us use the basement of another non occupied cabin when there was a tornado warning. The weather was not cooperative but the owners were more than willing to help.

We have stayed all over the Mountain View area. This was by far the best location. The cabin was built to last, not just some cabin built with Home Depot lumber with the tags still on. It snowed the 2nd day we arrived and the temps were down in the 2s and 3s, Courtney sent Carey and and Tanner over to deliver extra firewood for the wood burning stove, which kept the place so cozy we didn't even use the central heat and air. The stars were so bright and amazing, the creek, bubbling across the field was bathwater clear. We will definitely be returning this summer to float around in the creek and do some fishing. It was just what we needed to unplug and get away from the city. Best hosts we've had to date!

The cabin was beautiful, clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the views of the river, surrounding countryside and the stars at night were breathtaking! Upon booking, I was under the impression that the cabin was very isolated. However there were residences on either side within a few feet. Apart from that, we have a relaxing, peaceful Thanksgiving, which was exactly what we wanted.

Clean and beautiful cabin! Beautiful landscaping and surroundings (SO many butterflies) with lots of room. I loved having a mountain right out the front door while also being able to watch the cows, feed the horse down the road and hear the rooster in the morning. Super friendly neighbor and close to town. Super comfortable beds and linens! Would love a coffee table in the living room and a better recliner but great cabin overall and very roomy for 3 or more people. Will definitely be visiting mountain view again.
