Beachfront vacation rentals in Ito, Japan

The host was very kind and had a comfortable stay.Thank you!The beautiful sea spread out before me, and I was able to relax in a great location.It was a three-story building, but there was an elevator in the building, so it was safe for families with bad legs.We were grateful for the amenities, coffee, and sweets. The only thing that bothered me was the thin futon and the sound of cars that could be heard from the road right behind (there's nothing you can do about this, but…). Also, there was no mention of it in the amenities section, but there was a hair dryer!

I am a repeat guest. The size of the house and proximity to beach is what brought me back. Along with the ease of communicating with the host. Alex responded promptly and was clear in his communication. My group really enjoyed the outdoor space. Early mornings were so peaceful and relaxing and having the sunshade and umbrellas were welcomed protection from the sun allowing us to still enjoy outdoors.

We absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to return! From the moment we stepped inside, we felt right at home. This Airbnb is a perfect blend of modern comfort and traditional Japanese charm. The private onsen was incredibly cozy and spacious, and the Hinoki wood accents throughout the house added a touch of elegance. We loved running each day at the beach, along the coast to another town, or up the river into the mountains, and simply relaxed and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. Better get here first before we tell our friends about it for the same weekend!

we had a fantastic stay and abhi and his wife were wonderful hosts. my family enjoyed the spacious home which is in the middle of the nature but close to the beach and close to nice cafes. we already want to go back ! thank you so much for the memories.

The accommodation exceeded our expectations by miles. we felt at home when we arrived at the accommodation from the homey vibes and the host’s attention to cleanliness. we had everything we needed and more. what sets this stay apart is the hospitality of the host who immediately recommended the nearest hospital to us when one of us fell sick. if you are looking for a comfortable stay close to beautiful attractions this is the way to go. thank you for the hospitality and wonderful stay! 😁😁

The location of the homestay is very good, you can see the sea when you open the window, it is great to sleep with the waves every day

It was my first summer vacation for my family after COVID-19. In a nutshell, great!!! Fantastic!!! Surrounded by mountains, the sea, and rivers, nature is really beautiful.People like me who live in the big city have escaped to places like this, and it was an unforgettable trip. The weather was unstable due to the typhoon, but on the other hand, the waves were so powerful that we couldn't take our eyes off.For those who are surfing, I thought it was the best fit. The seaside was right in front of my eyes, and when I liked it, I came to the beach and took a deep breath while relieving stress.This time, on a trip with pets, the dog was fine, and I ran around the beach and played. For pet owners, this is a reassuring place! Around the location, there are many restaurants and coffee shops. There is a lot of gratitude to the staff, including the landlord's guardhouse and his wife. They politely answered any question.My daughter is interested in yoga and the guardhouse (wife) They kindly taught me experience lessons by the sea.Thank you very much. BY the sea in a harsh natural environment, I think it will be difficult to maintain the facility.I will continue to wish you all the best for your prosperity. It was a nice renovated room and communication was smooth. The children had fun playing because the sea was right in front of them.I hope to see you again soon.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Izu! The home was very comfortable and within easy walking distance to the beach, which made it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The nearby small restaurants were charming, and the locals were incredibly welcoming and kind. One tip for future guests: the closest grocery store is a few minutes away by car, so it’s a good idea to stock up on essentials before checking in. One of the highlights for us was the separate bathhouse, ideal for winding down after a beach day and perfect for families with small children. This was a fantastic destination for quality family time, and we’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

Everything was clean and stylish. This time, I didn't use the BBQ equipment on the terrace, but there were some very useful and good things, such as the grill and table and chairs that were installed. The kitchen area was especially good, and there was an abundance of utensils and dishes, so I felt like I could do anything. This is the case at any inn, but please be careful as there is no rice. When I was checking in by myself, I typed in the password on the key screen next to the front door, and when it didn't open at all, I was about to give up, but then I looked behind me and saw a lockbox on the back wall, and I was relieved. The owner was also very responsive, and I enjoyed this trip. Thank you so much.

A lovely spot in a quiet beach town, amazing views, stocked kitchen and comfortable bed. The bathroom was also great, a tub and shower with a great view. Overall a great stay.

We stayed here for a couple nights towards the end of our trip to Japan. We arrived quite late from our previous stop, and the hosts were very accomodating of this fact. While we enjoyed our stay here, it's important to note that the accomodation is right next to a major highway. This didn't bother me, but my partner had some difficulty falling asleep with the noise - thankfully the host provided earplugs which helped! The area is very walkable and we stopped by some great restaurants & cafes.

So amazing to wake up to that view and walk out onto the beach. The apartment has all you need for a comfortable stay and the host was very helpful and friendly. There are body boards you can use for free. Only note for other guests is you cannot stand upright upstairs so that can be challenging with a young baby, but that is not the fault of the property!

This air bnb was comfortable and had plenty of space for our family. We loved staying here and will stay again! The host was responsive and helpful and the home had everything you could want. Would recommend host get a house manual to leave for guests with a WiFi password (there is a nice easy QR code for WiFi) but sometimes connecting devices like kindles without cameras need a password. Manuals for the appliances in the house would be helpful as well. This air bnb was just so clean and welcoming and comfortable! We loved how it was remodeled to add modern but try to keep traditional Japanese touches. Just a lovely stay, we will be back! :) thank you!!

The condo is located right off the main drag and directly across from a semi-private cove of one of the best beaches in Shimoda! The photos are true to life, the place was in pristine condition, all appliances worked out perfectly, and the bedding was super comfortable! Cheryl is a great hostess! The one thing we wish we could have changed was the weather, as it was misty and windy during our stay, and then of course, the sun popped out the day we had to leave :( Hoping we can get a do-over and land Cheryl's place again some day!

Mayumi was a great host that made us feel right at home! Her communication helped us a lot when we were lost or confused about anything regarding the amenities in the house. Mayumi’s great restaurant suggestions in the area helped us settle in easily and felt welcomed after a long day of travel!
