Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Isla de la Juventud

We only stayed for three nights at Zenaida's and Pablo's but had a good time there. We were greeted very friendly with fresh juice and coconuts that grow in their backyard :) Pablo and Zenaida showed us around the house and their garden which offered many tropical fruits. They also have a very cute dog ;) The communications was a bit difficult in the beginning as we didn't speak Spanish and they don't speak English but we managed to understand each other in the end. The only thing you have to get used to is the very loud voices of the two ;) I definitely recommend that you eat at Pablo and Zenaida's, their food was very delicious, especially the breakfast was very nice. Pablo and Zenaida were very helpful when my boyfriend and friend caught a cold, they made them homemade medicine which was really good and we ended up using it even at home. They also helped us to figure out how to get to our next destination and even gave us the address of one of their friends in the area in case we needed any help there. All in all, we had a nice time at Casa Cocodrilo and would definitely recommend it. Pablo and Zenaida, thank you again for all your help and the good medicine!

Very simple bungalow right on the beach. Within walking distance, there are a few small shops and about three restaurants, all run by very friendly people. Overall, there’s nothing to complain about — this is Playa Larga in Cuba, so it’s best to read about the place before coming. This is definitely not for posh travelers looking for a typical beach holiday, but if you’re willing to explore this beautiful area, this is the perfect place for you. And we can’t forget MANU and his very kind family, who prepared delicious breakfasts and took care of us throughout our entire stay. Love you all, and hopefully we can see you again at some point! Unos anfitriones increíbles, me sentí uno más de la familia, se preocuparon de verdad por qué mi estancia fuera magnífica y lo consiguieron incluso me enseñaron a cocinar ropa vieja, me ofrecieron transporte y todo lo que necesite y mucho más... si pudiera les daría mas estrellas. Recomendables al 200%

El alojamiento es precioso y muy limpio! Las dos habitaciones cuentan con baño y nevera. Además, hay una sala en la entrada muy cómoda. Queda a unos cuantos pasos de la playa donde se pueden conseguir sillas para pasar el día. Hay restaurantes y pequeñas tiendas cerca para conseguir de todo!!! Lo mejor de todo: La Niña y Manolito, así como su familia son adorables y muy buenos guías, te orientan y dan consejos para disfrutar al máximo, son buenos conversadores y excelentes anfitriones!!!

Das Haus ist direkt am Strand! Im Nachbarhaus ist ein Restaurant mit Tischen direkt auf dem Strand. Giada ist immer sehr gut erreichbar und sehr hilfreich. Der check-in war unkompliziert. Das Haus hat eine sehr große Terrasse direkt am Strand und Liegen auf dem Sand. Es gibt drei Schlafzimmer mit jeweils einem en suite Bad und einen sehr geräumigen gemeinsamen Bereich mit offener Küche. Morgens wird einem ein leckeres und reichhaltiges Frühstück bereitet! Für den Fall, dass der Strom ausfällt (leider war das bei uns der Fall) gibt es batteriebetriebene Ventilatoren. Es empfiehlt sich, Taschenlampen und Powerbanks mitzunehmen. Wer ein ursprüngliches Kuba erleben möchte (mit allen Vorteilen und ein paar Nachteilen) ist hier richtig.

Libbys is a great host! She provided a clear orientation and then helped us find transportation to the Cueva de los peces on the other side of the bay. Meals were excellent too. Great location and great value for a fun beach trip.

Le séjour s’est très bien passé, ils sont accueillants et ont de très bons conseils de visites, les petits déjeuners sont très bons et copieux ! Je recommande :)

Ich bin sehr glücklich diese Unterkunft gefunden und ein paar Tage länger geblieben zu sein, als ich ursprünglich plante. Die Casa entsprach genau der Beschreibung und Fotos - man konnte das Meer direkt vom Bett aus sehen. Alles war sauber und es gab kleine liebevolle Details. Highlights waren definitiv das umfangreiche Frühstück auf der Terrasse und die wenigen Meter zum Meer. Riders war immer gut erreichbar und hilfreich und hatte gute Tipps für Ausflüge in der Umgebung. Auch den Ort kann ich empfehlen, besonders, wenn man in Ruhe in Kuba ankommen und gut essen möchte. Es waren wunderbare Tage - vielen Dank!

Merci pour cet accueil chaleureux dans cette maison sur la plage. Nous nous sommes régalés, les petits dejeuners etaient copieux et delicieux. Wilmer etait tres a l'écoute de nos besoins et toujours prêt a rendre service. L'emplacement est idéal , notamment pour les enfants qui ont pu profiter de la plage rous les jours. Merci!

Excellente chambre simplement décorée, à proximité de la plage (un dizaine de minutes à pied), Gustavo et son épouse sont extrêmement sympathiques et très aidants. Le petit déjeuner est de très bonne qualité. Nous regrettons de ne pas avoir pu réserver plus de nuits faute de temps !
