Family-friendly vacation rentals in Ionian Islands

Sehr geräumige Wohnräume und Außenbereiche, mit wunderschönen Blick auf Meer, See und Berge! Bis auf das Ausfallen des Whirlpools am ersten Abend war alles perfekt! Dafür hatten wir aber auch Verständnis, manche Dinge lassen sich eben nicht innerhalb einiger Tage beheben. Tipp für die nächsten Gäste: Bleibt eisern und füttert die Katzen nicht! Es werden von Tag zu Tag mehr und sie werden immer penetranter!

Angelo’s studio 3 has been superb! Spacious, well equipped and comfortable room. Always a wonderful surprise on what might be provided in the breakfast basket every morning. Lovely peaceful pool area with breathtaking views over Lakka and the bay. Extremely comfortable sun beds and a very nice infinity pool. Often facilities do not match what is advertised in this case, they exceeded them! Andreas was very helpful with advise on the best way to get to Paxos and organised a loan car, which was delivered to Angelos village. Can’t not mention Hara, who was brilliant throughout our stay. Provided recommendations on some Fanta restaurants, beaches and a memorable boat trip to the Arch and Blue Lagoons with Giannis. Thank you for a lovely holiday!

Thank you Christina for an amazing restorative break! For all your kind gifts and thoughts and keeping it so very clean with lovely touches! Ionian Breeze is a quiet beautiful house in a lovely location! We had a wonderful time exploring all the local areas by foot and with a car ( much needed on this island to get full benefit) Christina recommended some amazing walks, we found some wonderful places en route- ate in some great restaurants- Extraterrestrial in Exogi (book in advance for evening and not for the faint hearted drive!) Nostimon in Frikes ( can walk to ) Calypso in Kioni (great service and food, very pretty little harbour) Delicious in Stavros ( great local food and very interesting historical village, better to go in car) Found a great beach on one of our walks Marmagas, it was a little bit of a hike from Frikes (or do the whole circuit from Ionian Breeze ) there is a cabin there and the most delivious food! To come back to Ionian Breeze was a bonus !! Thank you

Logement magnifique, très bien équipé dans un superbe cadre. un agréable jaccuzzi avec une vue sublime sur les oliviers et la mer. Georges est un hôte très accueillant. Nous recommandons ce lieu, la ville de Kardamili qui est très belle.

An amazing castle like home over a very large olive gorge overlooking the ocean. Absolutely stunning scenery all around us. Home had all the amenities one would hope for and then some. Very large space for our family of 9. Pool and hot tub were a hit plus tons of games including foosball and ping ball. The upper deck was perfect for sunsets. And while we did not use they had this amazing wood fire BBQ and sitting area one could use. The location was great. We were basically on side of mountain in a secluded area but close enough to small villages and beaches. Lots of tavernas within 10 mins…4 tavernas within 1/4 mile (although 2 were closed due to slow season). Getting into Kalamata city center was about 25 mins and well worth it. Ann provided several suggestions on her Airbnb page. While there is taxi service i would highly recommend having your own vehicle Ann has a local host, Joanna, helping out and was super helpful and very responsive. Don’t hesitate to rent this place!

Denia was an excellent host -- super responsive, the place was amazing and had everything we needed. We had a great week there, would definitely stay there again.

It was the perfect place „to calm down“ -quiet -the oak tree house was cosy -the breakfast great -paniel the dog picked us up at night, which was lovely - Jorija and her team where always helpful and very friendly - great place to explore the north - ate fantastic in the „60 needles“ restaurant We loved being there and can recommend it to all who wish to stay at a quiet place close to many attractions. We only stayed at Κατερινα’s guest home for one night and wish we could have stayed longer. Everything was exactly as pictured/described, and the home was adorable and comfortable. We had no issues finding it with Κατερινα’s instructions and it was also within walking distance to some amazing restaurants as well as the temple of Apollo! She was kind enough to leave breakfast foods/jams that were not only delicious, but so convenient to have before a busy day exploring the ancient sites. We were lucky enough to meet Κατερινα a few times when coming and going and she was so so kind. I have no bad things to say about this little home - if it is available, you must stay there!!

Wirklich zauberhafte Unterkunft! Wir haben die Woche als Paar hier extrem genossen. Das Anwesen ist gepflegt und wunderschön. Man kann so richtig entspannen und fühlt sich direkt wohl. Ein Highlight für uns waren auch die süßen Katzen. Alles ist sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig, frisch und lecker. Die Gastgeber antworten schnell, sind freundlich und wollen wirklich, dass man sich wohl fühlt. Außerdem liegt die Unterkunft perfekt zwischen dem Strand und dem süßen Örtchen Leonidio, wo es viele Läden und Restaurants gibt. 10 von 10 Sternen und eine große Empfehlung!

Ο χώρος είναι άριστος και ξεπερνούσε κάθε προσδοκία! Το διαμέρισμα είναι πεντακάθαρο και γλυκό και διαθέτει όλες τις απαραίτητες παροχές. Οι οικοδεσπότες είναι φιλόξενοι και ευγενικοί και δημιουργούν ένα πολύ ζεστό και όμορφο περιβάλλον. Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα, καθώς το ποσό ανταποκρίνεται στην ποιότητα. Amazing place, beautiful garden and sea view. Only few steps down to a "private beach" and great local recommendations from Nikos. House inside very tastefully furnished and full of kitchen gadgets. Could be loud from time to time from the neighbours above. Overall very nice place to chill out and relax. I hope you like cats and can look after our little kittens 😽

Die Unterkunft war wirklich traumhaft, alles ist super sauber und genau so wie beschrieben gewesen. Der Blick von der Terrasse ist wirklich traumhaft und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Ein einziges Manko ist es, dass man „Nachbarn“ in der Ferienwohnung nebenan durchaus laut hört wenn diese spät noch aktiv sind. Dafür kann der Host aber natürlich nichts und die Unterkunft selbst ist absolut empfehlenswert !

Een hele gezellige plek om te verblijven, het uitzicht vanaf het balkon is prachtig, de studio comfortabel. Gezellige restaurants, winkels en bakker op loopafstand. Fijn strandje op 100 meter afstand en de prachtige westkust bereik je met een klein stukje rijden. De communicatie met Matina en familie was erg prettig en verliep vlot. We hebben genoten van vier hele gezellige dagen in Limni Keri, veel dank!

Ein absoluter Traum! Das Haus war noch schöner als auf den Fotos – super sauber, hochwertig und mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich wünschen kann: Von Smoothie-Maker bis Küchenmaschine, Nespresso samt Milchaufschäumer – einfach Luxus pur! Gerasimos war unglaublich herzlich, hat uns sogar um 1 Uhr nachts empfangen und das Haus zwischendurch auf Wunsch reinigen lassen. Highlight: Privater Zugang zur ruhigen Bucht, glasklares Wasser, dazu ein traumhafter Pool und riesiger Garten. Alle Zimmer sind modern und klimatisiert, nur ein Schlafzimmer liegt im Souterrain – sehr schön, aber ohne Meerblick. Sollte man wissen, hat uns aber nicht gestört. Zwei Tavernen sind zu Fuß erreichbar, sonst braucht man ein Auto. Wer Ruhe, Natur und Stil sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

House and property were perfect. We had a large group with 10 adults and 2 kids(ages 2 and 6). We had room to spread out and recover from long plane ride. Loved the animals and property. It is a working orange grove. Swam and played tennis. Easy drive to Nafplio (10minutes). Easy drive to Mycenae. Little village is close and has well stocked mini mart. Caretaker was attentive. We spent three nights.

We loved staying at this beautiful villa. It was absolutely stunning inside and out and Eleni couldn’t do enough for us. She was very friendly and proactive with useful information. She met us in a designated place on the way from the airport and we followed her to the villa. She had left us a basket and fridge full of goodies, including a bottle of bubbly for my birthday, and even gave us recommendations of nice restaurants to celebrate my birthday. The villa had everything we could possibly need during our stay. The property is surrounded by stunning views with various balconies to watch over them from. We are sad to be leaving this haven and will definitely be back in the future. Thank you so much Eleni for welcoming us into your beautiful villa 🩷.

We enjoyed the most wonderful stay at Milos paradise villas. Spiros was there ready for us to check in and always on hand to help us with anything during our stay. The pictures do not do this place justice, we could have sat on the terrace all year and not become bored of the view. It is a stunning place to wake up every morning & the sunset is to die for. We loved the locality to Agios Nikitas where you will find small shops and family tavernas, the private access to Milos Beach and the parking at the top of the site for our car. Cannot recommend this place more and we will definitely be back! Thank you Spiros!

Wow! This place is truly magical. Breathtaking views, a gorgeous pool terrace, spacious & comfortable interiors- All located in a beautiful village in the hills, conveniently located 10 mins drive from stunning beaches. Athina was so helpful with local knowledge & places to see, we had a superb time as a family of 8. She left a welcome pack of local fruit & veg aswell as honey, jam & wine, cheeses & butter. We felt so welcome and at home. There’s a mini market 5 mins walk away with all the basics & larger shops in small towns in 15 mins drive. Delicious & friendly restaurants & tavernas within 15 mins. The area is easy to drive around. Top 3 hot spots: Vouti beach/ Taverna, Assos & Fteri beach on the water taxi. My 10 year old loved feeding the village cats & seeing the goats walk past with their bells. Great places to swim, snorkel & jump off rocks - The water is the most turquoise I have ever seen! Forever memories made. This house, Kefalonia & Nifi has stolen our hearts.

In 63 years I have traveled extensively, in many countries, and this was overall the most beautiful surprise of any place my husband and I have rented. Our hosts, Vincent and Jean-Claude, were present, warm, generous and responsive, and the house and location are beyond magical. We will return every year, for certain.

We had a wonderful stay - a group of 4 plus a toddler. The space is great, very functional especially with a little one, and beautiful spots to sit and eat either looking over the stunning ocean, or under the olive trees in the yard. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly, good communication, and were flexible with check in/out time. There was housekeeping included every couple of days which was an unexpected treat. We swam at the beach down the hill every day - it was beautiful and quiet. Highly recommend.

We have just returned from an amazing stay at the villa. Amazing location and great being so great to the beach. Host very responsive and attentive. Thank you, hope to return again soon
