There is a small river and a nice old house of Japanese style next to the house .The tool of the barbecue is prepared. （Please bring an ignition agent and charcoal） it's comfortable in summer as the temperature is a few degrees lower than in the city. As of 2024, mobile phones have become much easier to connect to. （no wi-fi） The air conditioner was installed in 2022, but it is only on the first floor.Enjoy the natural air. There is a fan. Firewood isn't available from May as it will be warmer.

This house is a beautiful blend of traditional and modern making it convenient but also authentically Japanese. Mountains and ricefields are beside you, the Shimanto River can be heard. The ground floor is all yours. It's spacious with a large tatami sleeping room that can become two. The A/C is only in one room if the doors are closed. There is no central heating. Restaurants are within 10min or you can prepare local foods in your own equipped kitchen. It’s designed for long and short stays.

瀬戸内海を“目の前で独り占めする宿” Renovacation清水町へようこそ。ホストの田中政守です。 この宿は、玄関を開けた瞬間に「あ、ここいいな」と感じてもらえる場所です。目の前には瀬戸内海が広がり、ただ海を眺めているだけで心がゆるんでいきます。朝は波の音でゆっくり目が覚め、夕方には海がやさしく赤く染まります。派手さはありませんが、ふとした瞬間が記憶に残る、そんな時間が流れています。 場所は愛媛県新居浜市。どこか懐かしい雰囲気と、人のあたたかさが残るまちです。スーパーや飲食店も車で5〜10分ほどと、滞在に不便はありません。さらに松山や、しまなみ海道などの人気スポットまで車で約1時間、香川、高知へも約1時間ちょっと、徳島へも2時間前後と、四国をぐるっと巡る拠点としても使いやすい立地です。 一棟貸しなので、周りを気にせずゆっくり過ごしていただけます。家族でも、友人でも、お一人でも、それぞれの時間を楽しんでいただけたら嬉しいです。「なんか良かったな」と思ってもらえる場所でありたいと思っています。調味料は衛生上置いてません。

Our guest house is located in Tosayama, in a natural mountainous area, about 20 mins' drive from the centre of Kochi City. You can jump into a clear river with 1 min's walk! The building is a 70-year-old house self-renovated by us, where you can feel the old local culture of Japan. We're looking forward to seeing you!
