Self Catering House at Barra Beach close to Tofo

We stayed for a month at Gwen and Greg’s. The caretaker (Herman) was a legend and ensured a clean place, a friendly environment and good value fresh seafood from local fisher people. We found the view from the deck onto the mangroves excellent and think it more protected from wind and storms than beach views. Fans were provided as well as white goods and a very useful gas bbq. Security overnight was provided by a guard on premises. We went for walks and jogs each day to the beach which is both an easy walk or easy drive

The home is surrounded by lush greenery, with a vibrant garden and palm trees framing the entrance. A stone pathway leads to the front door, and large windows are visible, allowing natural light to brighten the interior.

Lovely place with large, quiet garden. Artur, the housekeeper was extremely helpful and attentive. The house is as described and well situated at a more quiet part of vilankulos. The pool was a quite green when we arrived, but Artur took care of it right away and we could use it from the next day on. Definitely good value for money, and definitely a recommendation! I'll stay there again when I come back!

Rui's place is great - the house is beautiful and the terrace especially was lovely, and had everything that a group needed. The location is great, walkable to the beach and all the cafés/restaurants, and our housekeeper Julia was incredibly helpful! Rui was also super responsive and helpful with regards to all our questions! We had a great time and loved our stay.

Nuno’s place is close enough to the beach but far away from the caos if you’re visiting during the high season. The house is full of thoughtful amenities and the swimming pool is a piece of art. The staff is friendly and will bring you coconut water in the morning. Looking forward to stay there again.

Casa Michelle is a great location, walking distance but private and beautiful views. The home is fully servised and Alberto helps with everything. the bedrooms and bathrooms are clean, spacious and beds are comfortable. Bedding is great too.

The villa is situated atop a dune, showcasing an elevated wooden structure supported by stilts. A spacious balcony extends across the front, bordered by a railing and surrounded by lush greenery, offering a glimpse of the outdoor environment.

The accommodation is amazing and looks exactly how the pictures show. Staff is proactive, friendly and very helpful. Location is calm and safe. I enjoyed the staying and highly recommend this place .
