Quiet wilderness guest home

Only the number of REGISTERED GUESTS may visit or stay in the home. Eight miles from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, half an hour from Amish country, and a 60-minute drive from Pittsburgh, our home offers a peaceful retreat. PLEASE NOTE: the house is accessed via a rough country driveway. We drive all kinds of vehicles up the hill, but we do not advise bringing your Lamborghini To be clear, this home is regularly used for our family fellowship and is not appropriate for parties.

Feel welcomed in this quiet, clean, modern suite on the edge of Indiana borough. This dedicated Airbnb apartment is attached to my house with a separate entrance. Both beds are in the same large room much like a hotel room. It has a cork floor and a king size bed and full size futon couch/bed with a gel foam mattress cover. Simple but elegant decor. Make yourself Keurig coffee and watch Netflix! I am available to answer your questions and ensure that you have a comfortable stay.

Rustic Spring House on sheep ranch. 68 acres to roam with stream, ponds, sheep, horses, donkeys, and chickens. Enjoy the life of a shepherd, within three mile of a quaint college town and home of Jimmy Stewart and 30 min. from Smicksburg, an Amish community. It's very reminiscent of a true Scottish BnB with North Country Cheviot Sheep. When available, breakfast is served in the main farm house. This place was magical. The home is so private and peaceful. We saw deer off the back porch more than a few times. Bruce & Cora were wonderful hosts. The house was stocked with eggs, cereal, coffee, juice etc. What a nice touch...especially when it snowed and we decided not to go into town for food one night. Bruce even used his personal plow to scrape the driveway so we wouldn't have any problems with the snow or ice. Highly recommend this home. This is a great place to stay for the Groundhog Festival. Close enough to all the fun but far enought away from all the crowds.

Cozy one bedroom with washer/dryer and parking

Sheila’s place is a cute little duplex just a couple blocks from Philadelphia St. It is small but comfortable for 1-2 people. You can tell from the photos but thought it worth noting that the kitchen space might feel tight for some, especially if you plan to cook (which you could given the kitchen ware available). Very comfortable double bed upstairs. Would have loved to enjoy the rocking chairs on the front porch but we visited on a cold weekend. Speaking of temperature, we could not find a way to access the thermostat so we were happy Sheila provided plenty of blankets.

This is the third time we've used Mary Anne's house to host friends from out of town, and the experience has been consistently positive. The house is historic and charming, and it's always super clean. And, Mary Anne is great to work with as a host. Would recommend!

Joshua's place was exactly as depicted. The house was immaculate and it was spacious. The area the house is at is very serene and peaceful, and it was a great place to relax and unwind for a few days. When my friends and I were at the house, we enjoyed the comfortable living room, and played a lot of pool. If we were going to be in the area again, we would definitely enjoy staying at Joshua's house again! The only thing I would suggest is a grill. Thanks Joshua!!!
