The condo was exactly as advertised. Other than the natural Egyptian dust (there is no escaping that) , the flat was very clean. It is perfect for a small family looking for a get away somewhere calm and beautiful. It is fairly distant from the heart of Cairo, but that is what we wanted.

I can't say enough good things about our stay at Houseboat65. I was there with five other folks - a couple & their two kids (8 & 11) and another single person. We had the three apartments on the second floor — perfect. I got lucky and slept in a gorgeous three-room space surrounded by windows, which filled the room with light. We spent a lot of time on the Nile-facing porches, chatting and having cocktails. It felt like our own little slice of calm and peace in busy Cairo. Jerome and the amazing Marie (we love you, Marie!) were beyond responsive: anything we needed (and that wasn't much: these spaces are well-stocked) or any time we needed assistance with luggage, etc., they were there in a flash. Marie served as our driver and top-notch tour guide for two days and wow - we felt so comfortable and well-taken care of. She knows the city so well and didn't hesitate to take us to some very far-flung locations. We can't WAIT to tell our friends about our stay and hope we get to come back!

A beautiful apartment in the heart of Cairo- homey, clean, and beautifully decorated. Definitely will book again and recommend anyone to book. The assistant at the property was also incredibly helpful.

Highly recommendable!! The apartment is located in one of the newest areas of the city, the surroundings are beautiful and its extremely safe. The location is very good, a few minutes away from the pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum. Also, you have a lot of amenities around including a mini-market in the compound. Our host Khalid was very responsive and helpful. The apartment itself is very spacious and comfortable, specially if you are a big group. The terrace is breath taking so, if you are looking for a place where to have some time off you have just found it!

It was a beautiful experience being with at the place . I was very understanding and the place was full of life and positivity. The staff was very cooperative and wonderful.

This apartment was perfect for our stay in Cairo, Zamalek is a great location, the host Abdo was very helpful and communicative, even showing us around the local areas himself, he's super friendly and makes sure your stay is perfect in every way! Would 100% stay again

Very nice Apartment in Zamalek, a modern area in the middle of Cairo with good restaurants and cool coffee places. The rooms were spaceous and clean, everything inside what you need. The AC was working well, which is important in the summer heat in Egypt. You can come and go whenever you want. Early-Checkin or Check-out was easily possible thanks to the amazing staff. Special thanks to Romany, the guy who was always around at the building, for being super helpful and friendly in all matters. I will book an Apartment from Gingersand again any time i come to Cairo.

Wonderful! Alia is an incredible host. A perfect airbnb stay where the home feels like home. Everything you need to cook at home, make coffee/tea, wonderful shower with good hot water and pressure, cozy spaces and lovely balcony. And course obviously, the best neighborhood in Cairo! Maged was a wonderful host, as was his father, Mohy. They made us feel so welcome, and helped when we had a bit of a hiccup with Talabat deliveries. Not only did they have delicious koshari ready for us shortly after arrival, but also helped with groceries, schwarma, and desserts thereafter. Truly going above and beyond. Highly recommended!

An unreal experience with a very responsive host. Wanted a 5star accommodation and that’s what I received. Would highly recommend and thank the host for the great 10 days spent.

I loved this apartment and felt right at home. The light in the evenings and the many plants really added to the charm - and sitting on the balcony in the evenings was a real treat. Samia was a lovely host, provided some food and tea to ensure I had something when I got in, and was communicative throughout. The apartment is well equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, full stove, etc. I enjoyed the neighborhood - it is very walkable and in a great location for exploring Zamalek. I will definitely stay here again!

I spent 29 days at this great place, just renovated. Very clean, the furniture quality is good, everything there as described and better. The owner (Amenah) is so helpful, cooperative, and friendly. During our stay, she didn’t hesitate to help in anything and followed with us to the end. For sure will not be the last time for us to deal with her and wish her all the best.
