Cottage vacation rentals in Île d'Orléans

We had a great stay. The house is conveniently close to downtown Baie-Saint-Paul and an easy drive to Le Massif. This is the second year we have stayed here. The kitchen is well-equipped. The fireplace and hot tub are great to have. The beds are very comfortable. We will be back.

Clean, warm and well-equipped place. The ancestral atmosphere exudes restful and refreshing energy. Close to all services, while offering a real moment of peace.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Paradis! We felt at home here in this welcoming cottage with the wonderful view. Minette is a sweet loving little girl- she stole our hearts from the get-go. We hiked many trails in Jacques Cartiers National Park, we walked the ancient forest trail at Mont Wright Park, kayaked in Marais de Nord, and spent 2 days at home puttering, cooking, and admiring the view of the river. We had a fun time!

Don't trust the photos - they do not do the place justice! It's a beautiful house and the view and property are stunning. Our smgroup of two adults and two young kids had a great time over Christmas. We had a lot of fun on the grounds, sledding, snowshoeing and exploring. We went to Le Massif to ski. It was grea to have a large gear room by the front door for all of our winter stuff. With 3 bedrooms it was too much room for us but worth it for the hot tub (clean and hot when we arrived) and amazing view. It would be an even better deal with a larger group. Once we figured it out, the wood-burning fireplace was so nice and there was plenty of firewood for us to use. The hosts went so far as to decorate for Christmas for us with a tree and other decor. We made lovely memories and hope to be back to try it in the warmer months!

We have had a really good stay there, the place was really quiet and clean. The view and the jacuzzi is the big plus of the place ! I really recommend ! Do not forget to take your shampoo and body soap, only hand soap is available there.

The cottage was very beautiful and in perfect condition. The kitchen equipment was complete. The view is amazing and the balconies were very appreciated. We could take a nice walk from the cottage and it's a short drive from the center of Baie St-Paul. We highly recommend it!

Beautiful location and view from every room in the house. Modern design with a homey feel. Interesting artwork in the house with information about each item in the house directory. Beds and bedding are very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipt. Glad we found this one.

Spacious, comfortable, bright house. You quickly feel at home and it's perfect for groups. Several touches were appreciated: even toothbrushes! Nice board game closet on site. As this is a pet-friendly home, expect some hair and pay attention if there are any allergies in your group.

I really enjoyed the stay.

We had a pleasant stay with the family! Everyone found what they were looking for! The immediate environment is quiet and rural. Geneviève was a great help when we needed her, even on New Year's Eve!

Dave was a great host. Super responsive and proactive. The house was spacious, clean and located in a beautiful neighborhood. We called him to check the hot tub and he even brought us donuts! Great experience overall! Merci Dave!

Overall set was perfect a few small details such as no garbage bags in the trash but it was at our disposal, missing a bit of dishes but for 2 perfect sets, the spa lacked water but was nice to enjoy it!

Listing was as described on the listing. It was clean and nicely decorated. They had all the essentials for our daily lives. The river view was beautiful. The owner was very kind, welcoming and responsive. The little plus, the outdoor fire by the forest and a short walk in the forest from the accommodation. The Charlevoix massif is not far by car as well as the pittoresque village of Saint Paul Bay. Thank you so much we had a lovely time.

We had a wonderful stay. What a beautiful place!! Very warm, everything was well thought out, we didn't miss anything. With a nice little touch upon arrival. Sebastien was available for our questions. Being in the countryside with beautiful tranquility, but being close to Quebec City at the same time

If you book it you won’t regret it!

Our visit was superb! We only stayed to rest and due to the weather conditions, we stayed inside. For New Year's Day, there were fireworks behind the cottage which was great, we loved it. The kitchen is very well equipped. It was easy to communicate with the host. We would highly recommend it.

We were looking for a refuge by the river to get away from our daily lives and that's exactly what The Captaincy gave us: a house of yesteryear in all its splendor and charm with everything you might need during your stay!

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful village of St-Jean-Port-Joli. The accommodation is really well located, you can't get better! A few steps from the river, its marina and all the other tourist attractions of the village. This is a 5*+ accommodation for the quality of the offer: good mattresses, bedding and pillows - superbly equipped kitchen - decor and furnishings more than perfect. It's up to date and well suited for small families. The host is very concerned about the comfort of the residents.

Beautiful home with lovely backyard in a nice neighbourhood. We had 4 couples in the house. The kitchen was well stocked with enough settings, glasses, pot, pans, bowls etc that we were able to make meals for our group. Very comfortable beds in good sized bedrooms. Would definitely come back to Edouard's house if travelling with a group to Quebec City.

Great place and hospitality!

Everything was perfect at Chalet le Shack! The space was exactly what we needed, the kitchen is well equipped, and very nice bathrooms with lots of towels! The location cannot be beat if you’re coming to cross country ski. Quick access to groceries and restaurants. We hope to come back again next winter!
