Located on a hill with a good view, you can overlook the scenery of Nara from the veranda and the second floor windows. We created a clean and comfortable space with the image of a home where you can stay as if it were your own. There are 4 rooms, each with 2 single beds. 15 minutes by cable car from Torii-mae Station, a 10-minute walk, to Ikoma Mountain Amusement Park, the night view of Osaka from the top of the mountain is so good that it was certified by the "COOL JAPAN AWARD 2019". In addition, the approach to Horyu-ji Temple, which starts right next to the house, has restaurants with good views, so you can enjoy the old-fashioned atmosphere. The early morning walk is very refreshing. Ikoma Station is a 10-minute walk and is a convenient station with 4 lines. There are hills and stairs from Ikoma station, so if you have large luggage, I recommend taking a taxi from the station (about 700 yen) 10-minute walk to supermarket, department store, and restaurants. It is fully equipped with all the facilities you need for a long stay, including appliances, cooking utensils, bedding, cleaning utensils, and wifi, so you can enjoy a comfortable life like at home. You can experience living in a typical Japanese apartment. You enter and exit through a separate passage from the entrance to the condominium, so your privacy is protected and you can feel at ease. Despite being located in front of the station, the interior has excellent sound insulation, making it quiet and comfortable. There are many restaurants nearby, so you can fully enjoy the gourmet. It is also a great base for sightseeing in Nara. We promise you a pleasant stay at our accommodation.

Nishimura Residence is an old-fashioned Nara-machiya that has been standing on a piece of Nara-machi for more than 100 years. I was a “grandmother” for a long time when I was a child. In Nara Town, there is a pleasant despicable feeling that never changes. "I want to be filled with this pleasant contempt even for future generations." With that in mind, I took care of the empty Nishimura Residence. - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara.
