Staying at this Airbnb in Jinja was an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, Susan and Joel went above and beyond to make sure everything was seamless. Their kindness, helpfulness, and attention to detail truly elevated our entire stay. The house itself was exceptionally clean — you can tell real care goes into maintaining the space. The interior decor was tasteful, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, creating the perfect atmosphere to relax and unwind. Whether it was the comfort of the space, the peaceful surroundings, or the genuine hospitality from the hosts, everything about this stay exceeded expectations. I couldn’t recommend it more and I’m already looking forward to returning. A real gem in Jinja!

Great place to go with family! Bernard caretaker was also very welcoming. Location is very good being right in the center of all places with activities at the source of the Nile. Place is just as you see in the photos no exaggeration. Not to forget the spot on communication from Violet! Highly recommended!!

As a middle-aged, American, solo-female traveler I look for a place that is safe, walkable, and quiet. This was perfect for me and I felt right at home. I enjoyed the location and walked to restaurants in the area. All the drivers and bodas were able to find it easily

We felt right at home with Jerry and his lovely family. The compound was beautiful, really well kept and the team there were friendly and helpful. There was so much space for my children to safely roam so we were able to relax. Really grateful for the laundry service as Uganda is very dusty. The apartment was comfortable and we had everything we needed. It was quiet and we slept really well. There is a high level of security around the clock so we felt very safe. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if we were coming back.

In dem Airbnb hab ich mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Vanessa ist immer erreichbar und antwortet schnell. Die Lage ist super, ruhig und man fühlt sich sicher. Ich würde immer wieder zurückkommen! Vielen Dank Vanessa!

Absolutely loved our stay at Home on the Nile. The views from the room were incredible and such beautiful surroundings. David, Hope and all the staff were so, so helpful and friendly. The food was great and lots of local recommendations for things to do. Felt right at home and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Jinja!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful Airbnb from November 9th to 12th, providing me with the perfect retreat during my visit to the Nyege Nyege event. Although my original plan was to check in on the 9th, I unfortunately couldn't make it until the 10th. The host was incredibly understanding and accommodating, making my check-in process seamless. I felt secure throughout my stay, thanks to the secure access to the property and the host's commitment to ensuring a safe environment. The host's communication was exemplary. They were prompt in responding to my messages. In summary, my stay at this Airbnb greatly enhanced my Nyege Nyege experience. The comfort, convenience, and hospitality exceeded my expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend this Airbnb to fellow travellers looking for a cozy and well-situated retreat. I look forward to the possibility of returning for future visits to this delightful Airbnb. I have been using Airbnb for quite some time now, but Violet's place is by far the best—excellent service and very attentive to guests' needs. Fred and Bernard are the best. I highly recommend this place. My family and I absolutely loved it.
