Harvey & Lei’s place is truly stunning. We had a memorable stay in the heart of Tokyo. The place was located in a great location by train stations, shops and food spots. The locals are extremely friendly. The facilities in this place are excellent. From comfy bedding, a fantastic wash/dryer, super warm shower and huge TV - this place has it all. Every day & night here was superb. We will definitely return again!

My friends and I (3 women total) had a wonderful stay at Junko’s 3-bed listing. It was cozy but we still had room for our 3 full-size suitcases in the main room, and we slept comfortably each on our own twin mattress in the tatami room at night. The JR station and Mita line are both less than 10 min walk through the neighborhood and those lines linked us easily to the rest of the city. There are also some tasty places to eat near the stations. The konbini on the corner was very convenient for late night snacks and drinks. The in unit washer/dryer was so nice to have and Junko-san sent video instructions for using it. She also sent video instructions for how to enter the building, but we communicated via Line upon arrival and she met us at the building to help us check in. We also really appreciated her recommendations for nearby sento (public bath), unfortunately we ended up so busy we didn’t have a chance to visit them. The neighborhood is peaceful and lovely!

I highly recommend staying here! The appartment feels private and has character, and the neighbourhood is calm and quiet with a short 15 minutes walk to the lovely bar and restaurant streets of Akabane. I really enjoyed the sento, I went to Suehiro and Hot Land and both were very welcoming. This was a very special start to my Japan trip. Thanks again for having me ☄️✨🏡☄️

Venimos de españa, nos alojamos 35 dias, la casa nos gustó mucho, era acogedora y muy bonita, sin duda repetiriamos en un próximo viaje. El anfitrión, kentaro, fue muuuy amable y estuvo muy pendiente de nosotras, ayudándonos siempre que teníamos dudas~ Los únicos peros que tengo es la ubicación. para un primer viaje a Japón como fue el nuestro, recomendaría otro alojamiento, porque para ir al centro siempre tardábamos una hora/dos horas en llegar y volver de los sitios y para turistear no es muy conveniente, se nos fue mucho dinero en transporte, pero para un segundo o tercer viaje más tranquilo, si! también nos sorprendió la cantidad de ambulancias que pasaban por la zona! todos los días sonaba una, incluso por la noche! Y una tarde salimos a caminar y al lado de casa nos pararon unas señoras que nos querían meter en un culto budista! fue una experiencia realmente de otro mundo jajajaja no volverás a casa sin experiencias curiosas!

I had a great time! The host was helping and responsive and the place was clean and tidy! The tatami room added a nice touch and made it feel like an authentic experience. As a tourist from out of the country, there were some things to get use to but the host leaves clear instructions on how things work. Amazing stay!

We had a great time staying here during our Tokyo trip! The place is comfortable and well-equipped, perfect for a group of 5. Although it’s a bit far from the main tourist attractions, getting around is very easy with convenient access to both the JR line and the subway. There are also some great local restaurants nearby—we especially recommend Asuka Kaiten Sushi, which offers delicious sushi at a very reasonable price. Overall, this is a great option for anyone looking for a more affordable and spacious stay in Tokyo. With hotel prices in central Tokyo being so high these days, this place is a decent alternative. Would definitely recommend it to others!

I booked this apartment at the last minute due to a disruption at my previous accommodation. Even by Japanese standards, it is incredibly clean, and it is almost double the size of the average small Japanese Airbnb. My favourite thing about it is how well it is stocked/furnished - it has cutlery, cooking utensils, pots, pans, a washing machine, stain remover, etc. Whoever cleans and re-stocks the apartment is really good at their job! Also, even though I kept extending my stay at the last minute, they were very accommodating. Unfortunately I had to leave some bigger pieces of rubbish in the room, and they waived the cleaning fee. The only downside is it takes about 50min to get into Shinjuku/Shibuya area.

I booked two side-by-side units and both met my expectations. Unfortunately, the wifi in one of the units had stopped working a few days into our stay. I failed to mention this to the host as we were quite busy and out of the house often, however I have strong faith that if I had let them know then the problem would have been resolved promptly. Other than that, the space was perfect for us and there were no other issues.

Comfy House Aoto is a very comfortable place to stay for a large group of people. We highly recommend!! There is a large couch, kitchen area and large dining table. The rooms are comfortable and everything is very clean. We stayed with a group of nine people , two families with small children. We found there was plenty of space to spread out and relax at the end of busy days of exploring Tokyo. The location is residential and quiet which we loved. We found a lots of places to eat and there is a supermarket conveniently located at the train station. We would certainly stay in Aoto and at Tomo and Sachi’s house again - highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay here! The place looks brand new and was spotless clean. It is rather spacious - perfect for 2 people. It’s situated a 10min walk away from a big train station (JR), with a big shopping mall and many restaurants around, in a more local area. The host was friendly and responsive. Just bear in mind that there are 3 floors and no elevator. All in all we highly recommend this place!

Comfortable apartment that looks just like the photos. We really enjoyed the traditional tatami room as well as the bathroom which was typical Japanese. There is a grocery store right across the street with great options. The host was very responsive and kind.

Great place. It's a normal Japanese suburb which is peaceful and quiet. The apartment was clean and tidy. The kitchen could do with some more utensils (spatula, large bowls etc), other than that a great place. I will stay again if I visit Japan again.

We love everything about this house! It’s located in a quite neighborhood, but very safe. We stayed as a family of 5 with 2 elders included. My personal concern was about having an elevator to access the room as we had many big luggages and there are 2 elders. The room itself is quite compact. If you are tall, you might find little difficulties to roam around. The compactness of the room was not our problem, of course. They have 1 main bedroom, 1 tatami room which has 3 futons and TV. The TV screen wasn’t big, mostly like a PC Screen. Maybe if you can change to a smart TV, it will be even better. The facilities were all clean and worked so well. The shower room and toilet are separated, so it’s very convenient for us. Helen, the host, was also very helpful even before we arrived. At the end of our stay before checking out, Helen bid farewell to us directly. We were so touched! ❤️

We had an amazing stay at Emiko's place (our second stay - we stayed for 3 months in 22/23 - and it was just as good as we remembered). Emiko is always helpful and friendly and goes out of her way to make sure her guests are comfortable and happy. The location is great - nearby supermarket, conbini next door, a beautiful local walk along the river (where you can sometimes see Mt Fuji), lots of local shops and things to do. A very easy train into Tokyo, but also a lovely, quiet, family area to come back to at the end of the day! The accommodation has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. We were working while we were here - it's very comfortable with lots of space and very very good high speed Internet!

Beau logement près des transports. Absence de fenêtre, mais nous passions notre temps à visiter. Serait encore mieux avec un petit four et quelques assiettes, mais c'est seulement pour trouver des points à améliorer. merci à notre hôte pour sa rapidité à répondre.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Le logement est bien situé, à moins de dix minutes à pied de la gare du Tsukuba Express. Le logement était propre, bien équippé et suffisamment grand pour trois personnes indépendantes. Je recommande !

Unser Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Wir konnten nach schneller Absprache unsere Koffer vorab abstellen. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig und gut angebunden. Gegenden wie Shibuya sind mit längeren Fahrten verbunden, was für uns in Ordnung war. Das Haus ist relativ hellhörig, was jedoch kein Problem darstellte. Die Wohnung ist an sich sehr gut, ich würde jedoch kein Kind unter ~6 Jahren mitnehmen, da die Treppe nach oben sehr steil ist. Wir würden immer wieder kommen. 🙂

The place was super clean and very quiet at night, perfect for a comfy rest. It’s right in the heart of Tokyo, close to all the spots we wanted to visit. The host was quick to reply and very helpful. I loved my stay and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend to everyone!
