Cottage vacation rentals in Huskisson

We loved this beach holiday, so much so that our dog refused to get in the car to come home! It was exactly what we needed. A very quiet town, right on the water. We would love to go back and hope to do so. Such a gem of a location, this should be a “Rare Find” AirBnB, it truly was magical.

A lovely place to spend a few days. The cottage has everything you need. The location is superb, only a few minutes away from Huskisson and yet very peaceful and quiet. We can definitively recommend this accommodation.

Our only negative about our stay is that we didn't choose to stay longer. Banksia Park cottages in Kangaoo Valley are located in a truly magical place. Beautifully scenic and serene and totally surrounded by nature. We sparked up the fire pit as soon as we got there and had it going until we went to sleep. Everything was great

Tranquil and beautiful setting, exceeded our expectations. Great to come home to and relax after a day out and about.

We had an absolutely perfect stay! The house is even better than it looks in the pictures—spacious, beautifully set up, and incredibly comfortable. Although the weather wasn’t great for most of our visit, we barely noticed—we were too busy enjoying the cosy fireplace, relaxing bath, well-equipped kitchen, entertainment options, and board games. The place was stocked not just with the essentials but with thoughtful extras—we didn’t want for a thing. We were lucky to get a break in the weather and explore Currarong Beach, which was beautiful. We had the entire beach to ourselves—it truly felt like a VIP escape! It was the perfect spot to celebrate a milestone birthday. Our two dogs had a wonderful time as well, and the secure back garden was a huge bonus. We’d 100% recommend this place and hope to return in the future!

We had such a lovely weekend. 2 families with 2 kids and 3 dogs. place was loved by all. Kayaks for guests to use, we took our paddleboards, great spot for fishing, private jetty. Grassed area with shared BBQs and an enclosed balcony to keep dogs and kids contained. Very relaxing and peaceful. Definitely recommend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Byres, such a peaceful rural location, rolling green hills the sound of the cows and yet only 9 mins to Berry and 7 mins to Shoalhaven. The house was well equipped, we made great use of the outdoor spa and the coffee machine, glad that the rooms had fans and the master had aircon, comfy beds. Loved it all! Would definitely recommend this property and we hope to book again in the future.

We throughly enjoyed our stay here! It was the perfect quiet romantic weekend getaway for my husband and I. We saw kangaroos in our backyard everyday and saw some beautiful birds as well. The cottage was adorable and extremely cozy! We would absolutely stay here again and can’t wait to come back.

We had a wonderful two nights at the cottage, Natalie’s instructions are very clear and concise in checking in. At first you feel like you’re in a cottage and surroundings that could be at least over 100yo but beautifully presented, until you read the story in the cottage info book and realise it’s only around 20yo and that a lot of the material is from famous buildings and locations across not only Australia but the world. Great kitchen, very well appointed, heated floors in the bathrooms, great coffee machine, fire place and bbq. Would stay there again in a heart beat. Thanks Natalie

What a magical house in the most perfect location! The beds are super comfy with lovely linen. The house is quiet and has everything you need. The view from the deck is next level. We loved our stay and Holly was a lovely host!

We think the shack was an understatement it is beautifully furnished main bed is very comfortable a few little treats to go with it. The kitchen is well equipped, and plenty of space for the 3 of us a very large tv to chill out with and plenty of room for our four legged friend to make it her home as well inside & out. Short walk to surf life saving club with amazing views of the ocean. Central to many beautiful beaches & day trips. Renee & Jason are very accommodating and provided many local tips We loved this place.

Great place for family with kids and dogs, loads of toys and games, surprised to find a baby bathtub! Cosy living environment, no need to worry about anything. Great choice for a holiday stay.

We had a lovely stay at Knoxberry Farm with our 4 yo. Location is excellent, lovely outlook from the large windows and deck to trees and field beyond and just a few minutes drive in to town. We went for scenic runs along the quiet road. The cottage is compact, we loved the big beds and hotel bedding, very comfortable. We did all our cooking on the bbq on the covered deck in sunshine or torrential rain, great setup with a fire pit in the garden as well.

Great place, close to the beach (dog friendly). Very quiet, went for a long weekend to escape busy work! Very impressed with the place have everything you need. The front definitely my fav spot to stay! Strongly recommend!

We loved staying at Bronwyns place. It was really nice, clean and homely and a perfect set up for dogs and babies. It’s in a beautiful setting and Bronwyn was an exceptional host who gave us great local Recommendations and tips. We loved the birds around the property itself was so peaceful. Perfect for a little family holiday.

Excellent stay, place is very homely and had everything we needed. Great outdoors area, and large garden. The location is fantastic across from the beach, and a nice walk around the coast to the dog beach. We hope to be back soon!

We had a fantastic stay at Rhonda’s apartment. The location was perfect—ideal for anyone looking for a relaxing escape. The peaceful atmosphere made it easy to unwind, and the apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We love spending time outdoors, so this area was perfect for us. There’s plenty to do, from the scenic Kiama Coastal Walk to exploring Berry. Definitely a 5-star experience! We’ll be recommending it to our friends and hope to return soon.

We loved this cottage - it is just like in the photos. Beautifully decorated and provisioned with everything you need, lush bedding and a great kitchen. The cotttage is compact but surprisingly spacious and we were very happy with 5 adults in our group. The extra bathroom is super handy. It is located in a lovely quiet street an easy 10min walk to a gorgeous beach, parks, playgrounds and local shops with a great bakery and IGA. A 20 min walk takes you to Narrawallee Inlet which is a must to visit. We walked to Mollymook beach too but the local beach is better! Hihgly recommended. Just note that all the beds have raised bed ends which might be tricky if you are over 6ft or taller.

Baia was great! The garden and outdoor areas were beautiful and it was really tastefully decorated. With 5 of us staying at the place, a larger couch wouldn’t go amiss. Overall, really enjoyable stay!

The cottage was perfect - in a beautiful spot, felt super cosy with the fire, and had everything we needed. Kim and her family were lovely, and we definitely appreciated their help getting to the cottage. Absolutely on our list to come back, such a special spot!

We had a lovely stay at this beautifully decorated cottage. It had everything a family could need – from games and books to table tennis – and the cosy fire made it feel warm and welcoming. We especially loved the front porch with its rocking chairs, perfect for a morning coffee in the sunshine. Watching kangaroos grazing on the lawn was a real highlight. Kerry and Nicholas’s cottage is spacious and clean and located in a quiet area. It is a five to six minute’s drive to the supermarkets and restaurants. It is also easy access to various beautiful beaches and walking tracks . The living area, kitchen , bedroom and bathroom are clean and tidy . The cottage feel homey and has all facilities to make a comfortable stay . In the bedroom it has a good quality electric blanket for cooler weather . We had a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the cottage and also surprised and delighted to receive welcoming gifts from the hosts . Before and during our stay we had received prompt communications and response from Nicolas and Kerry . I would recommend this cottage to everyone.
