Our "Holunderstübchen" is located on a quiet cul-de-sac on the border of a protected landscape area, but only a short distance from the center of Voerde. We have furnished the small apartment with about 34 square meters in the extension of our house, where the local head teacher used to have a stable and hayloft for self-sufficiency. On the ground floor you will find a modernly furnished eat-in kitchen and in the former hayloft is now the living room and bedroom with many windows and open attic.

Welcome to the Lower Rhine. Our apartment has just been completely renovated and is located between the Hanseatic city of Wesel and the Roman city of Xanten. In the pilgrimage town of Ginderich, you will find us in the district of Werrich. Here it is nice, quiet and rural. The name reveals that you have a view of fields, meadows and the Rhine bridge Wesel. From us, there are a variety of bike paths to discover the Lower Rhine. The apartment is for 2-4 people. The free parking space for two cars and right in front of the entrance door makes it easier to arrive without stress.

Completely renovated at the end of 2018, the apartment has underfloor heating and includes a fully equipped new kitchen with dishwasher and a new bathroom. There you will also find Rewe, Aldi, etc. The secondary cities are Oberhausen/Mülheim. The Centro is 5 minutes by car.

In our house in a small cul-de-sac (insofar as the address "Hauptstrasse" is misleading), we rent a closed 2-room apartment (sleeping/living area) on the first floor with a small kitchen and bathroom. The location is ideal for tourists, business people and trade fair visitors. Since 08/01/2025, the city of Essen has levied an accommodation tax of 5% and a maximum of €9 per night. This is included in the nightly rate.
