Family-friendly vacation rentals in Huntsville

Cool place to stay with easy access to restaurant and fishing from balcony. A little overfished especially if all condos are full and fishing lines are all in front of you. Definitely relaxing lake and great host to deal with!

Helen and Joe were able to accommodate us after our previous booking canceled on us at the last minute and their place was awesome! They were very gracious hosts. The house was located a short drive from the Texas Ren Fest, had plenty of beds, was very clean, and the hot tub and pool were fantastic after a long day of walking. 10/10 would stay here again the next time we come down for the Ren Fest.

Apartment is nice and has everything you need, bathrooms are large and clean, with the main bathroom having a jetted tub. The view from the condo is actually better than the picture, as soon as you enter you have a panoramic view of the lake. There’s a restaurant/pool within a block of the condo so it does give a resort feel. Also Jim, the host, is very responsive, helpful, and knows the area very well. He alone made the trip that much better. Our family loved the outing and I think you will as well.

The house was beautiful and very clean when we arrived. Lovely neighborhood. Michael was a great host, fast communication prior to booking and allowed us to check in a little early which was very helpful. There were a few things missing from the house that were listed as amenities in the listing but Michael brought them over immediately after we spoke with him and that helped make our stay just what we needed while visiting our family. If you are a tv watching family, the only thing I would take note of is that there was only 1 tv. None in any of the bedrooms and a second living area on the second floor with only a couch and no tv there either. It wasn’t a huge deal to us but something to be aware of. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again next time we’re in town with our larger group.

Beautiful location, great amenities, and wonderful host. We had a wonderful relaxing get away. The rentals were great very clean and fully stocked with all we needed. Being able to fish off the balcony was awesome!! And we caught all types of fish!!! The KIDS Loved fishing and catching fish!!! The beds were comfortable, A/C was wonderful after enjoy the outdoor sporting amenities basketball, tennis and swimming.. My grandson had so much fun at the pool and full park!! Saturday night we enjoyed a live band at the restaurant that was a short walk from the rental. This rental met and exceeded our expectations! Oh and shopping for food and other essentials was only a short drive away.

Book it! My family and I stayed for our last bit of Spring Break (4 adults, 3 kids and a baby) and we had a blast! I can’t think of a negative thing to say about our stay. Upon arriving to the property, it just felt peaceful. The atmosphere and the community together have a sense of calmness. Check in and check out was easy. Plenty of cookware to use for having homemade meals. The backyard area was beautiful and full of seating. We sat around the fire pit, barbecued, fished and utilized the boats. There were extra life jackets, fishing poles and grills on site to use as well. Our kids had so much fun! Watching them disconnect from the world a bit and just have fun being kids was the best part. We loved our time at Richard and Carols. Definitely had me wanting to sell our subdivision house for a place like this!

Place was bigger than expected. Great location with quiet neighbors. Host was very responsive during our stay and friendly. We had a great time and would recommend this place in the Woodlands. Make sure to bring your own coffee, salt/pepper, shampoo, etc. but the place was clean, quiet and convenient.

Although the condo is cozy my wife and enjoyed the property for 7 1/2 months while having our new home built. The surroundings are amazing, with a lake view off of the back patio, and a great treed neighborhood for our daily walks. Shopping and great restaurants are a short drive away, with a few within walking distance. Matilde is a great host who promptly dealt with any questions or concerns.

My family and I needed a place to stay for an extended period of time. We loved staying up at Lake Conroe in this Airbnb. It was beautiful. The condo is right on the lake with beautiful views. We could see boats, kayakers, golfers, pool and one weekend we saw a beautiful wedding take place. Everybody was so very nice. The neighbors, people at the pools, people walking their dogs and security were all so very nice and helpful. We felt very safe and we loved having a gated community, manned by security 24/7. Terri was fabulous and very helpful to us. Terri is very organized (which made our time stress free and easy to manage) and she gave us lots of suggestions of lots of places to take the kids for fun. The area has so much to do, you’ll never be bored. My kids and I loved every minute of it. I would recommend this Airbnb to anybody and I will definitely return. Thank you so much for making our extended-stay a fabulous experience. We have wonderful memories to show for it! Thank you!!!

The place is huge and has many bedrooms. The living room, which is very old-fashioned yet very comfortable and livable, was very comfortable. Two beds are on the first floor, and two are on the second. There are three bathrooms. The one upstairs is very unique but works well. It's perfect for family and college kids as well. It is located near the downtown area.

This is a great place to stay with friends and equine companions. Marilyn and Gary were wonderful hosts and their place is so perfectly setup to have a perfect weekend enjoying the Sam Houston NF by horseback. Beautiful place with nice pens and hook ups for your LQ trailer. We had an amazing weekend and will totally come back again.

Great little spot on the water!! Beautiful views. Super comfy bed. Had a guest book with recommend places in the area. Ate at the Meating place near by for BBQ. So good! Also loved the jacuzzi tub. Will recommend to everyone in the area :) nice host as well and responsive.

We had a great time! It was completely peaceful and quiet! There were a few boats out on the lake but we could barely hear them. We’re already planning a trip back with friends.

This place is a gem and provided us with the comforts of home. The view of the lake is stunning and presented us with an extremely relaxing weekend. The fishing kept us busy the entire time and we only left a couple of times to buy more bait from the corner stores nearby. The other renters were pleasant and noise was not an issue. The kitchen was well equipped, bedroom was comfy, and the bathroom was stocked and neat. Jim was extremely pleasant, friendly, and readily available to help if needed. We can’t wait to go back!

We have stayed at this condo multiple times and we love it! The view is wonderful and enjoy the Walden area very much!! Ruben is always an excellent host!

The location was great, Host was very proactive and responsive! The grounds were beautiful and the pictures in advertisement represented the location. I plan on returning to this location when back in the Houston area. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Would definitely recommend staying at David and Tsui Man’s condo. It’s a beautiful a and clean condo right on the lake. David and Tsui Man were great host and immediately would respond to our needs. Absolutely loved the place! The bed was so comfortable, the views were gorgeous and the surroundings peaceful! Jim graciously greeted us at check-in and helped accommodate our parking with our boat! Definitely would recommend and will return!!!

Loved the gated community sense of privacy and security. The guards were friendly and courteous. Close proximity to anything you would need. Getting around Houston was pretty easy coming from this location, but be careful of tolls. Definitely try the restaurant “Hunger Crush” at the warf, the food was excellent. Cafe 105 was a great breakfast spot with interesting twists on old classics. The only negative was on the morning when all three of us had to get ready to get out the door early, we ran out of hot water. Since I showered last, it was a very brisk and hurried experience. Give yourselves plenty of time between showers.
