Get close to nature and history at the very small village, Borðeyri. Tangahus guesthouse is few meters from the sea. Looking out of the windows you may feel like being on board a boat. The view from windows heading towards north is fantastic, especially at sunset in the summer time. During winter time our guests often see beautiful northern lights. Guests love to take walk to the beach and listen to the mysterious sound of the sea and seabirds. If you are lucky you can also see seals!

Brekkukot 541 Blönduós Cottage 1

One of three cottages on the farm Brekkukot, located 13 km south of Blönduós, driving the highway 1. The cottage is 34.4 square meters with a bedroom, bathroom with shower, living room with kitchenette. There is a kitchen table and chairs for four as well as a sofa bed. The view is beautiful and exceptionally beautiful in the late summer evening sun. Mountain view and view of the surrounding countryside. No meal is included, so it's a good idea to stop at a grocery store on the way.

Bjarmaland - A Cozy Blue House near the Ocean

Bjarmaland is an old stonehouse in Hvammstangi. It's a small house, about 55m2 and has three floors with two rooms on the ground floor; Bathroom and Kitchen, the entrance at the first floor, and a cozy Bedroom/Living room on the second floor. Only 1 minute walk to the Supermarket, the Tourist Information Center, Icelandic Seal Center and the restaurant in the town; Sjávarborg. Cozy house in the village

The house has 3 bedrooms. 1st bedroom has a double bed and a bunk bed 2nd bedroom has two single beds 3rd bedroom has two single beds. There is also a small sofa bed in the common room if needed. Access to the terrace is through the bathroom. There are two bathrooms in the house, showers in both. The terrace has a hot tub, grill, table and chairs. Spacious living room and good kitchen. A washing machine and a dryer is available in the laundry room.

Bungalow in a quiet environment

Environment Newly furnished bungalow in a quiet setting. The street of the house is called Lindarvegur and is located in the top district of Hvammstangi, n.t. on top of the hill where you drive up to Church. So it offers a great view of the village and onto the fjord. It's a very short walk to a beautiful outdoor area in Kirkjvammammi and many exciting hiking trails, such as a footpath that runs along the river, located just south of the house.

Spectacular view over Steingrímsfjord and the island Grímsey. Lovely cottage close to Drangsnes. The cottage has two bedrooms, both have a double bed and a bunk bed over the bed. Six persons can stay in the cottage. Bathroom with a shower and washing machine. The kitchen is well equipped with stove, microwave, fridge/freezer and cutlery and tableware. The untouched nature and birdlife is amazing in this area.

During the summertime a gas grill will be placed on the summer deck which you can use. it‘s just about 5 minutes walk to a swimming pool and just about 2 minutes walk to the grocery store and liquor store. In the same neighborhood is e.g. the Icelandic Seal Center and the wonderful restaurant Sjávarborg.
