We had such a lovely stay at Charlotte’s place - incredible accessibility to Stockholm and all with beautiful natural surrounds and interesting hiking trails for miles. She was super responsive and kindly gave some local recommendations. For anyone who loves nature but is also keen to experience the city, this is a perfectly placed spot. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Patrik, le quartier est très joli, calme, paisible et le voisinage charmant. La plage est accessible à seulement 5min à pied, l'arrêt de bus aussi. Patrik nous a donné toutes les instructions nécessaires pour notre arrivée et pour nous déplacer pendant notre séjour. La cabane est très accueillante et est équipée. Nous n'avons eu besoin de rien de plus. Ce séjour a été un très bon moment, une très belle découverte de la ville de Stockholm et de ses habitants, l'ambiance agréable et paisible et des paysages juste merveilleux. Merci Patrik de nous avoir accueilli chez vous. Je recommande vivement la cabane de Vardmo.

Es hat alles gepasst - Unterkunft wie auf den Bildern. Susanne ist sehr freundlich und hat uns wenn Fragen aufkamen immer direkt geantwortet. Die Unterkunft liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend und man kann dort gut entspannen. Man ist sehr schnell in der umliegenden Stadt. Absolut weiterzuempfehlen! ☺️👍

Katarina is an amazing host who is kind, showed us around, gave us tips and was very helpful at all times. The cottage was magical, exactly as described. We spent the most of the time grilling outside the cottage with the lake view. It was a really relaxing weekend and we definitely recommend Katarina as a host! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

We had a wonderful week at Lisa and Henrik’s cabin by the water! We very much enjoyed the peacefulness during both day and night and loved waking up to the sunrise by the water right in front of the bedroom window. We also had the chance to use the sauna which was such a treat! We didn’t have a car but managed to get around just fine with public transport and walking. Lisa and Henrik were both super responsive and helpful – the perfect hosts! We also very much enjoyed the company of Skorpan the cat, who came to visit a few times. ☺️ Thank you Lisa and Henrik, we hope to see you again sometime soon!

Very nice and cozy stay if you want to explore Vaxholm area! 😊 The place was clean, had everything we needed and felt very cozy. It was great that we could just walk around the island and when we could borrow the bikes for free to explore Vaxholm 🏝. Linda and her husband are very nice too, gave us lots of local tips and the communication was always very easy and fast. Can only recommend!

Eriks cabin is modern and had all you needed like a fridge, wifi, stove top and oven. The view is the stealer of this small yet open floor plan that even has a three person table. The bathroom is equipped with a stand up rain shower. The deck is large and even though on Eriks house near by, has plenty of privacy. The sunrise and sunset views are gorgeous. The walk from the road to the cabin is about three mins downhill on a dirt road. It is definitely not a place with large bulky suitcases but if you are okay with getting what you need to the space, I say It is a nice brisk walk. I rented the sauna during the evenings and i have to say it is paradise. It is nicely designed with a glass door facing the sea. Everything is programmed by wifi so all you need to show up is your sauna attire! There is also a hiking area from the cabin you can walk for miles and get to high places with views of Stockholm! I definitely will be back.

En mycket trevlig stuga omgiven av fin natur. Kerstin var hjälpsam och väldigt snäll. Rekommenderar starkt!

Schönes kleines Haus mit Whirlpool und super Aussicht. Es gab ein paar Kleinigkeiten, die man verbessern könnte, aber wenn das niemand sagt, weiß der Gastgeber es ist nicht. Daher haben wir einfach mal darauf hingewiesen, dass man das Bett verschieben könnte. Dann wäre mehr Platz etc... der Whirlpool ist ein Genuss, aber es gibt noch andere Häuser und die Bewohner laufen am Whirlpool vorbei. Das fand ich irgendwie komisch. Auch am Pier waren immer Menschen, dieser wird mit anderen Unterkünften geteilt. Es werden wohl mehrere Häuser vermietet und die begegnen sich alle. Das war für uns vorher nicht klar. Ich hätte gerne ohne Zuschauer gebadet. Die Aussicht ist ein Traum, die Gastgeber sehr nett. Nächster Supermarkt ca 12 Kilometer. Alles in allem toll für eine kurze Auszeit.

Our stay at this unforgettable Airbnb on Varholma was truly a dream come true. Nestled in a peaceful and remote location, it offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life—a true haven for slowing down and reconnecting with nature. The house itself is beautifully and thoughtfully designed, with cozy Scandinavian interiors and so much attention to detail. Every corner feels warm, inviting, and filled with love. Whether it’s raining or the sun is shining, this place offers the perfect atmosphere to relax and unwind. And the sunsets? Simply breathtaking. Sitting outside in the evening, watching the sky turn golden over the water, was an experience we’ll never forget. We can’t recommend this magical spot enough!

Tiny cabin for two people but with everything needed, refrigerator, microwave, water heater, of course bathroom and shower. Hard to believe, but it all fit well in the house. Clean, comfortable. Beautiful forest. Rocks. Birds. Blueberries flowering. One good reason - close to Arlanda, only 15 minutes drive, I always would prefere this accommodation to Stockholm, if need to get to airport quickly. Very lovely Sigtuna town pretty close. We had a wonderful stay at their place! The cottage was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for a peaceful getaway. Our host Martin was very friendly, responsive, and made us feel welcome from the beginning. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this place to others. I had a truly wonderful time at Chatrin’s place! The beautiful nature right next door makes it perfect for anyone looking to get away from the city for the weekend. Chatrin is such a warm and kind host! I’ll definitely visit again!!

Heerlijke tijd gehad en ontzettend veel geluk gehad met het weer. Veel buiten in de tuin geweest. Genoten van de hazen en de reeën die af en toe door de tuin liepen. Huisje was fijn en lekker licht. Heerlijk geslapen na gebruik van de jacuzzi. Orminge centrum was op korte afstand met de bus om boodschappen te halen wat erg handig was. Ook via Kayakomat lekker gekayaked. Malin gaf snel antwoord. Zeker een aanrader!!

We loved this little home and it's residential surroundings. It gave us the feeling of being a local! It felt very private and had everything we needed.

Fantastiskt fin stuga som hade allt som vi behövde och önskade. Även toppentrevlig, tydlig och snabb kommunikation med Frida och Joakim. Skulle starkt rekommendera detta ställe! 😊

Es war wunderschön in Annas und Dags Tiny house. Sie sind tolle Gastgeber und kümmern sich sehr sehr freundlich, zuverlässig und schnell. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet, es gibt alles was man braucht und noch viel mehr: eine sehr gute Atmosphäre, auch weil dieses Tiny house so gut gestaltet ist: jede Menge Türen und Fächer machen aus tiny tall. Und natürlich ist die Lage an den Mälaren fantastisch. Ein Traum. Stockholm ist schnell erreicht, wir konnten das ganz schnelle Nova-Boot nutzen. Auch Schloss Gripsholm im idyllischen Mariefred ist mit dem Auto nicht zu weit und natürlich ist Ekerö selbst ganz fabelhaft. Es gibt eine sehr gute Bäckerei: Tegners Bageri, ein super Schwimmbad (für den See war es noch zu kalt), alles neu und nett und wohl sogar ein neues Day Spa. Danke, dass wir da sein durften an Anna und Dag.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, wunderbare Lage, stets schnelle und gute Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Petit chalet paisible au cœur de la nature, facile d'accès (train à 5 min) et avec des vélos à disposition pour decouvrir les environs. J'ai passé quelques jours très agréables !!

Rose-Marie var en mycket trevlig värdina mötte upp oss på angiven plats.Trevlig att prata med, bra information om det som var viktigt att veta och att vi kunde bara höra av oss om det var något vi undrade om Det var en mycket fridfull och mysig omgivning inget väsen och höra fåglarna kvittra på morgonen var underbart

Perfekter Aufenthalt – besser geht’s nicht! Die Unterkunft war genauso wie beschrieben: sauber, super eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die herzliche Kommunikation und Gastfreundschaft. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen und kann diesen Aufenthalt wärmstens empfehlen! Tausend Dank an Jacob und Karuna.

This place is truly wonderful. We stayed here for a few days for our mini moon and it was perfect! We were lucky with the weather so were able to enjoy a beautiful sunset over the lake, a row in the boat, the sauna and relaxed on the balcony. It was peaceful and clean. We hopped on the bus to Stockholm which was super easy! The bed was extremely comfortable and the snacks in the fridge were a bonus. The place is even better than the photos! Would recommend! Het huisje voldeed aan alle verwachtingen; op loopafstand van een natuurreservaat en de perfecte locatie voor uitstapjes naar Stockholm en de archipel. We hadden een auto gehuurd en parkeerden die (gratis) in Gustavsberg voor bus 474 naar Slussen. Van daar kun je eigenlijk lopend alles af in Stockholm of een veerboot of andere boot nemen naar een van de eilanden, bijv. Fjäderholmarna. We reden ook naar Stavsnäs, voor de boot naar Sandhamn. Beide eilanden zijn een lust voor het oog en een oase van rust, zelfs in het hoogseizoen. Voor cultuurliefhebbers zijn er talloze musea, zoals het Nationalmuseum en het Moderna Museet. Ook voor natuurliefhebbers is het huisje perfect gelegen. direct achter het huisje kun je de Ösbyrundan lopen, een pad van 4,5 km, makkelijk parcours. Gustavsberg zelf is niet spectalulair, maar heeft fijne restaurants en supermarkten. Marie deelde allerlei tips met ons en was zeer behulpzaam. Reageerde snel op vragen en was erg vriendelijk. Onvergetelijke vakantie!

La tiny house se trouve dans un lieu très paisible et enchanteur. Elle est très confortable. La décoration est apaisante et de bon goût. Le jacuzzi est très appréciable après une longue marche. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Il y a des parcours de randonnée à proximité. Camilla et Joachim sont à l écoute sans être intrusifs. C est parfait ! Nous n avions pas loué de voiture car c était un séjour de 2 jours. Prévoyez une voiture si le séjour est plus long, et visitez le parc national de Tyresta. Nous vous recommandons chaleureusement cette tiny house nichée entre la forêt et la mer!
