Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Hubbards

We enjoyed staying at Robert's fabulously decorated home. It is a unique home in a beautiful setting; it's not often we get to stay in a home with exotic birds, friendly ducks, and a dinosaur room. And Robert is an excellent host. It's a great location for seeing the area - many attractions within a 1-2 hour drive. We would stay here again if our travels bring us back to Nova Scotia.

From booking to checking out, this was a great experience. The location was amazing. The place was clean and very welcoming. Thank you for the treats and the Tim’s coffee was an extra bonus. The bed was so comfy and the pillows were just like home. It was exactly what we needed and would highly recommend this place I. The future.

Another great stay. The kitchen has all the amenities you would need. The place is clean and welcoming with comfortable beds, lovely big bathrooms. But the best part of the stay are the evenings out on the deck watching the ever changing views across the Minas basin over to Cape Blomidon where the setting sun provides spectacular sunsets every evening and if you’re lucky you’ll catch sight of the bald eagles that live nearby

Raquel’s place, “Vista Del Mar,” is absolutely gorgeous!! The open concept of the main level allows for guests to dine and intermingle while enjoying the picturesque view of St. Margaret’s Bay. Raquel was quick to respond to messages and was a pleasure to talk to! A short scenic drive to Peggy’s Cove and Halifax. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone travelling to Nova Scotia. Thank you Raquel for having our group at your place!

I do not have a lot of experience with Airbnb so I did know what to expect. This home and my interactions with the owner Deanna, exceeded my expectations. We needed a large place for our family as we where gathering for a sad event. We all fell in love with the house and Hubbards, any questions where responded with promptly. Deanna was always interested in helping and making our stay a positive one. I could not ask for a more gracious host and would love to stay here again. You can rent this home with complete confidence. If Airbnb ever needs an ambassador, Deanna could be it.

This is a perfect place for a large group gathering. Close to downtown (walkable to most locations), lots of sleeping space, more than enough bathrooms, functional and spacious living area, well-appointed kitchen. Everything in the kitchen is labeled so you never have to find time looking for things. My only suggestion would be to put instructions for the very nice (but complex) coffee maker on the inside of the cupboard door where the coffee is! We have booked this space 2 years in a row for a work conference and we will definitely be booking again! And if you are very skillful there is more than enough parking space! :) Thank you for your hosting us!

Location is everything! This property is located in a peaceful and picturesque setting, a mere steps from the famous lighthouse. House was spacious and comfortable, we enjoyed our stay.

This host went above and beyond to get me in with an unscheduled booking - short notice! They rushed a cleaning and made me feel very welcome. And they gave me flexibility on checking out times. Friendly. Accommodating. Great value. Great location and a lovely airy relaxing space.

The place was comfortable and good value for money. Peaceful neighborhood away from the busy Halifax area. It had the necessary amenities and Barry was very accommodating and friendly.

A great stay. Loved the architectural uniqueness of the apartment. Lunenberg is a surprising discovery for those like me who hadn’t heard much about it before visiting. Great fish/ lobster restaurants close by. And the whale watching tour was only a short walk away.

Victoria has created such a cozy and welcoming space with an absolutely gorgeous view. Everything is spotless and pristine, the bed was super comfortable, and she has provided all you need for a home away from home. We enjoyed meeting her very sociable chickens and were able to truly relax in between our runs into Halifax for fabulous food, and a quick trip to Peggy’s Cove. Although our stay was brief, we had a simply marvelous time. Thank you so much, Victoria!

A wonderfully spacious apartment that is beautifully furnished and well located. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back. Communication with the host was nice and straightforward.

We stayed for 6 months and it was absolutely wonderful! There were lots of beaches and trails nearby to take our dog. The views were amazing! We even saw a seal once! The apartment was beautiful as well, especially the kitchen (as someone who loves to cook and bake it was perfect!) It's the perfect distance from Halifax if you don't like the bustle of a city but still want to do some sightseeing if you don't mind driving a bit! Overall we loved every part of our stay :)

We had such a wonderful stay. The property is so beautifully landscaped by Bruce and Leesa. You can see the love and care they put into it. The inside was no exception. It felt warm and inviting. Leesa and Bruce are wonderful people. Very friendly and put us at ease right away. Really really nice couple. Don't think twice about booking this place. You will not be disappointed. The Airbnb photographs do not do justice to Amber’s place. The unit is spacious, very nicely renovated, well stocked and included some very thoughtful touches. Though on a main street and a weekend, it was quiet as was the building. Port Williams is a terrific place to visit! There are some nice local restaurants close by and a walking trail leading to Wolfville. The unit was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Towels, linens etc. were plentiful and our host highly responsive and welcoming. Amber’s place is a lovely Airbnb and I highly recommend staying there. Parking is included and if more than one car, overflow and street parking. Thank you Amber and Albert!

On the Rocks is a peaceful, magical place. It is modern but cozy and extremely clean and well equipped. Jerky and Stew are responsive and friendly hosts. This was our second time here with plans to return in the future!

The location is absolutely beautiful and more spacious than the photos show. We enjoyed watching the wildlife and rolling fog from the bright open windows throughout the house. The host is very excited to share the experience with guests by providing kayaks and local food/ activity recommendations. The property is well looked after by a neighbor / property manager who has great recommendations as well! The property is remote but still within reasonable driving distance of Halifax and other tourist destinations. We recommend you get groceries on your way in though as there are limited grocery options in immediate area. Farmers markets are easily found and have best of NS. Highly recommend for a beautiful and relaxing vacation!

Jordan's villa was absolutely stunning. The expansive space had beautiful rooms, and surpassed all expectations. The photos depicted a lovely spot but it was even more incredible in person. Is is beautifully decorated, absolutely immaculate and had every possible amenity one could think of. It was a wonderful stay for us and I highly recommend a visit! It could not have been any more perfect!

The Breakwater is spectacular! We stayed in the Lobster Pound for four magical nights. Waking up to the sun pouring in the huge windows facing the bay was thrilling every morning! Inside the place was perfect: tastefully and thoroughly equipped to meet all our needs. We especially appreciated the binoculars, the motorized shades to maximize our privacy/views and Stew and Cheryl’s personal recommendations for sites and seafood!

Our family had a wonderful stay. Scenery was beautiful, house was perfect, and enjoyed all our day trips (Lunenberg, Peggs Cove, Halifax). Jordan was a perfect host, always responsive. Our two kids (6, 2) loved playing on bunk beds, and there were some games and activities to keep them entertained. Highly recommend for a getaway - family, couple, or friends. It was an interesting stay for the host and for our group. First, I got a message that the air conditioning had failed the day before we arrived and the repair people were not available until after our stay. So the hosts put fans in all of the rooms! Then the hurricane came and it was not safe to stay. We left the day the hosts were coming to secure the house for the storm. And they initiated a refund for the days we could not stay! You can’t ask for more from hosts! The house is lovely and a great place to stay!

Can’t say enough about this place. Impeccable with a beautiful ocean view and peaceful surroundings. A lovely little welcome gift was a special touch. Cheryl and Stew came by to introduce themselves and they were very kind and welcoming. Everything you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable was thought out. The quality of the villa was outstanding and so beautiful it truly is one of a kind! It was our second stay but won’t be our last!
