I had a great stay at this apartment, after making it inside. I couldn't find it at first, but that was because airbnb's English translation of the message did not include the address, even though it was there in the original message! Because of this, I was actually brought there by the owner via car and shown inside in person, which was absolutely top notch service and super helpful. Just how kind, responsive and helpful the owner is not only in person but also via messages would have me recommend this place, but aside of that it's also just generally a nice place to stay. Shower is good, bed is a bit stiff but I did sleep well and this is the only place I have stayed in the entire country where there was an installation to make the tap water drinkable, which was nice. Close to the station, very kind host and just overall good for the few days you need to explore Hualien. I was even offered to go swimming in the mountains together, but didn't have my swimming gear with me. 5/5

The appartment is really great, very convenient, good location, well furnished, everything functioning. However communication is horrible. The platform AirBnB translates from Chinese to English/German which is simply not understandable and unfortunaltely the owner does not speak English. So we were told that the elevator is red (in fact it was not) and the appartment door would be black (but is light blue), so we really had trouble. When we tried to use the Pin and/or the keycard only a red light flashed so we thought we could not get in and hat to wait for the owner who fortunately came very quick. We learned that red means ok and green means not ok - very very strange for Non-Taiwanese people. Also it would have been nice to get information quicker - we only got instructions 20 min before check in - again very very difficult for Non-Taiwanese without a smart phone contract. The building is dirty, filthy and not maintained so we were hesitant to get in, but the appartment is nice!

We truly appreciated Sofia's apartment. It was generously sized for two people, allowing each of us to have our own bathroom. The interior was thoughtfully designed with great attention to detail, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Additionally, the apartment was impeccably clean, well-organized, and looked exactly like the pictures. Sofia welcomed us warmly and explained how to use the elevator dongle and the door code. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy for us to prepare our own meals. There were also numerous restaurants within walking distance, and the beach was only about 8 minutes away. We were especially grateful for Sofia's flexibility with the check-out process. Since we had to travel to Taipei for work on short notice, she was very accommodating and allowed us to check out earlier than originally planned. If I can give 6 out of 5, I would. The place was just like the photos; spotless, tidy, very accommodating and has all the amenities. The view out the window is the key feature; you can see the sunrise at home or near the footpath near the harbour. Hualien is also an amazing place with so much beautiful landscapes, friendly locals and peaceful environment. Although there are places in the Taroko national park that is closed off due to the typhoon and landslide damage, but the views are still immaculate so I highly highly recommend.

This place is great for a stay in Hualien. Livia was super nice and helpful, gave a lot of local recommendations and made our stay here amazing.

Andrew was a very helpful and communicative host, with a lot of advice and local details. The place was great, centrally located, convenient, with great views. Very modern, with a lot of gadgets (like automatically opening trash can). The water was hot with good pressure, washing machine worked great, and keyless access was super convenient. As it is a large apartment building, I could hear the neighbours sometimes until late night, but not an issue overall. Yuli is a small town, so it is easy to leave into the rice paddies, which are great during dusk with plenty of birds.

很大很舒服 隔音有點不太好 但就樓中樓嗎😂（二樓的腳步聲一樓會超明顯） 地點離花蓮景點都算蠻近的 早上可以清楚看到百萬海景🥺 大多時間都跟朋友四個人癱在客廳看Netflix Chill ~~~

Wonderful stay. Great communication from the host. Comfortable beds. Spacious. Quiet neighborhood with a few local eateries and a short drive to heart of hualien. Highly recommend!
