The place is a bit off the beaten path. I'd recommend having access to vehicle of some sort, a bicycle would be enough. You can book one in advance in town. Big and comfortable room, lovely host, and beautiful surroundings. Great place if you need to relax a bit.

This time I stayed at Zoe and Spark's B&B in Hualien Gian Township. At first, I saw the photos of the B&B on Airbnb. The layout of the room is all in my favorite style. The B&B is near the Internet-famous Starbucks. The surroundings are very quiet. He also has two dogs, and the Shiba Inu is very cute.When we came and left, the landlord drove us to the train station with his big pickup truck. The train back was at 6 in the morning. The landlord and his wife got up around 4 o'clock to cook breakfast for us. Thank you very much.They also help us to call a taxi when we go out, and we can also get a discount. The Host couple feels very friendly and welcoming.I went to downtown Hualien these days (various snacks in the night market, Alipay can also be discounted, there are many food shops in the city neighborhood, I recommend Mr. Goose, Fair Bun, Koufu Beef Noodle, etc., and also made a horse and chicken massage at Emma), Stone Tiping, Qingyuan (Japanese Temple), thank you for taking care of the hospitality for three days.Recommended for everyone, it's really nice!

Checked out on the day of the Hualien earthquake, Suhua Highway could not collapse back to Taipei, the owner immediately helped to find transportation, contact arrangement, feel the love of Taiwanese people, I highly recommend everyone to feel it.

This is my second time staying at this place. Hosts are very friendly and offer a great number of activity options that can be done during the day. Accommodation is good. Nice and quiet. Convenient stores are within walking distances.

great view of the ocean from a smallish balcony, room was clean and comfy, the location is a bit isolated in term of shops and restaurants which makes it a quiet place to stay in, host was very friendly and helpful who also cooked good breakfasts!!!
