Vacation rentals in Hovsta

we spent 1 week here and would come back right away. Jens & Anna-Carina were very nice, and gave us good tips for excursions. The place looks like the pictures and the awakening with lake view is wonderful!

We felt very comfortable in the Swedish house. The view is great and you can reach Tiveden National Park in 25 min. by car. The communication with Robbin went great.

What a location!! Perfect hideaway for the most relaxing time, away from everyone and everything. We absolutely loved our stay. The panoramic sauna & enormous jacuzzi were a dream. We love cooking & the kitchen had everything we needed, wíth the most amazing views on the lake. As a music lover it was very nice to find high quality Sonos speakers throughout the house. Daniel answered every question we had immediately. And his father welcomed us very kindly. Great place to stay!

Vacation like with friends! Thank you for these wonderful 2 weeks. We found the peace we were looking for. Everything was as described and Berhard and Wioleta were always available. We would love to come back!!!

The second year in a row that we chose to rent the house from Knut. We had as amazing experience now as then! The surroundings are incomparable, with forest around and the water right outside the door! The only thing that we lacked a little was adequate lighting but we fixed that with some relocation of lights :) we are more than happy to come again!

I recommend this accommodation for everybody. Stylish and functional house and a friendly host. True experience!

Super nice apartment and the area is quiet. However, it is easy to go to the city, you have to have a car. They welcomed cats which was good. Our cat (and we) really enjoyed checking out the lovely nature around the apartment.

Cottage Gwen is equipped with all comforts, everything has been thought of. Nicely decorated and clean! There is plenty to do outside for children: large trampoline, hammock, toys and of course the canoes! The lake is really close by, you can also swim there. Inside, there is also plenty of entertainment for games and toys. The area is quiet and you can walk nearby nicely. Great place!

To say we had a nice stay would be an understatement! The accomidation is so lovely and we had an amazing vacation. The pool deck is even nicer than you might think from the pictures. The pool costs a little extra (120€ for the week as of 2022), which would have been nice to write in the listing. Given the pool is heated and has to be maintained the cost is understandable though of course. The next grocery store is about 15min by car and the next bigger town about 40 to 50min. Given how nice the house is you might not want to leave though :) We had a lot of fun taking the SUP and the canoe out to the lake, we even had the chance to do this with our little dogs for the very first time, so that was a really great experience. There is even a grill, which Linda and Peter were kind enough to let us borrow. All basic spices, oils and such were also there to borrow. The surrounding forrest is beautiful too and there were plenty of mushrooms to pick. Lastly two things worth noting (These werent issues for us but might be worth knowing for others). Both the pool deck and the garden are not fenced in, so if you have small kids or dogs you will have to keep an extra eye out. And the larger beds in the main house are in separate rooms but the rooms are only separated by a curtain. Again, these were really non issues when you take into account how lovely the rest of the place was! So, thank you again for letting us stay here, Linda and Peter!
