Great stay and great value! The place was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Very cozy place. The only complaint was that there were lots of bugs right outside the door and some would get in when coming inside. Otherwise, the place was great and I would stay here again!

Located on the river and close to food/recreation. Very clean. Responsive host!

Loved this little gem! Such a cool little space with everything you need with an island feel. Plenty of space for us, our 2 little kids and my sister. Definitely recommend and will definitely stay here again next time we come down to visit family.

We had a great stay at Marty's place! It was easy to find and get inside, and the location worked great for us. It was a short drive into the downtown area, but set in a quieter part of town. Marty was very easy to get a hold of and responded promptly whenever I messaged. They have a great blackboard of local recommendations for restaurants, bars, and other things, which was helpful throughout our weekend. Highly recommend!

Great stay. Location was quiet. I wish we would’ve gotten to stay in the warmer months. I’m sure the views would’ve been even better and the outside space would be great for that. The inside was clean, newly redone when I stayed (from my untrained eye). The welcome sweets were a nice touch! Paula’s instructions for access, parking and everything else were clear and concise. We were fishing and Paula accommodated our need to clean fish in a space that wouldn’t otherwise been available. She did not have to do that for us, but she did. She picked up when I called to inquire about it too. She’s a super-superhost! Don’t hesitate to book her listings. Highly recommended!

This place was amazing and breathtaking! The photos did not do justice to how grand it was! The location is extremely convenient to bars, restaurants, activities, and sightseeing. The trade-off is that the vibrant bar scene is audible until bar time in this college town!

Place was perfect for our girls weekend! A little hard to turn into but once you know where you’re going it’s easy! The traffic is a little loud, but not disruptive!

I loved the house very clean an organized. I love the fact that its in the country an you dont have to worry about your things outside etc. Great place will rent again

Our group of 8 adults were attending my daughter's wedding in town, and this was a good place where we could all be together. It was nice to each have our own rooms. The only difficulty was scheduling bathroom times as only 2 bathrooms. The kitchen was handy when we made bars and treats for the wedding reception and other meals, so we didn't have to eat out all the time. It was nice to have a place to come back to after all the events but still be together playing games, talking, or watching movies. We appreciated the thoughtful welcome basket and the homey touches as well as the little things people sometimes forget like toothbrushes etc. Everything worked well for our group's needs.

Beautiful home. Very well stocked with helpful supplies (eg kitchen). Comfy beds. And oh what a view of the Mississippi. And did I forget to mention the telescope looking at the bald eagle nest!! 🦅

We rented this property to host a bachelorette weekend. Usually, hearing a party as large as ours would scare hosts off. But Lena was so amazing, with not only an early check in, clean rooms, beautiful views but a home so perfect for our celebration. We truly felt as if we could enjoy ourselves, and that we were at home. She has an amazing response time, and is so helpful with any questions, or concerns, and had this unit so much more stocked for things we may need than I have ever seen. Overall, an amazing home and would absolutely stay here again.

This was the perfect place for our family of 5 adults to stay! Everything was available in the kitchen to make us feel right at home and to make and enjoy homemade meals! The inside was roomy and beautifully furnished. The beds were very comfortable. Woke every morning feeling refreshed! The neighborhood was quiet and safe. Perfect for our morning walks. And Arlene was super responsive to the questions we had!! We would definitely stay there again on future visits to the area.

This is the second time we rented this property with a group of friends. We plan to stay there again when we return to visit La Crosse.
