Beachfront vacation rentals in Horseshoe Bay

What a wonderful place! The space was spotless and well stocked with bed linens, towels, and cozy couch blankets as well as a well stocked kitchen. Beds and pillows were super comfortable which matters a lot to us. Even though Dawn sent us links to many activities nearby we chose to enjoy the beautiful, peaceful and serene surroundings right outside the door. The sunsets were gorgeous and as our visit was a week before the Summer Solstice they lingered until well after 10:00 PM. We were lucky to spot a "rainbow" (nacreous) cloud while we were there too! Well worth the 4 1/2 hour drive from our home in Vancouver, WA. We'll definitely be back!

The little cabin remains an absolute treasure. I first came here 17 years ago and it remains as wonderful as ever, impeccably cared for and very private. The view from the deck is breathtaking and the hammocks are a special treat!

This is a beautiful, peaceful retreat that's perfect for a weekend or week's visit to White Rock. Andrea's suite is tastefully decorated and has everything you need. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is beautiful and has everything you might have forgotten. The kitchen is very well appointed. The suite is also private with good (free) parking. It is easy walking distance to the beach and restaurants/coffee shops and a short drive to the shopping centre. Andrea is very responsive and warmly hospitable; she's an ideal host. I've stayed in the suite several times and I hope to do so again soon.

This place was absolutely gorgeous, the photos don’t do it justice. The space is beautifully appointed with everything you could need. Such a peaceful spot to relax and unwind.

This was a great place. 5 stars all around, although the location should have gotten 10 stars! It’s walking distance to the beach, the grocery store, cafes, restaurants, and even the liquor store. Street parking also wasn’t a problem. The apartment itself is well thought-out with a surprisingly well-stocked kitchen. We also appreciated the little details like new sponges in the kitchen, extra hooks for towels, availability of beach towels—all small things that really show that they know what they’re doing! We were a couple travelling with our adult daughter and although it was a little tight, it was expected as the pictures accurately represented the space. We really enjoyed our short stay here and wish it could have been longer.

Gill and Sue are fantastic hosts, they are very friendly, responsive, helpful and proactive in their communication. Their cabin is just fantastic and located within a beautiful area, literallyon the beach front. "Sleeping under the stars" was a very apecial treat. When we can, we will definately be back. Lori's suite was so lovely - what a location! The guests were quite busy working (the reason for their stay), but they still enjoyed their time in the suite. Fresh baked cookies and a lovely bottle of wine welcomed them. Lori was great at communication and fast to respond to any questions. A great place to stay, definitely value for your money, and wonderful hosts. Thank you!

We’ve stayed at the Inn Of the Sea many time and been lucky to stay at both of Tammy’s condos. We come and go from the area all the time for work and it’s hard to go back to a hotel after discovering the condos.

The only complaint I have is the bed in the bedroom. Could not sleep on it very squeaky, wiggly, mattress very lumpy.. needs a foam mattress and new frame. It was so uncomfortable. Thank god the couch was comfortable. Hopefully he will replace the bed by the next time I stay.

Pat's place is awesome. We, a family of four - two adults and two kids (one is at teen age and another one is younger), spent a great long weekend there. Bright, cozy condo with great view from almost any window. It fits all of us, has a nice kitchen with everything you need for your stay. Heated pool with a hot tub, which we and kids enjoyed, just downstairs. The Bay is very good for paddle boarding. We did twice over our stay. If tide is low, you can reach a tiny island where you can find lots of purple and orange sea stars, crabs, and oysters. Ladysmith and Nanaimo suggest great dinner options. Nanaimo also has a nice walkable Marina merging into Maffeo Sutton park. If you like hikes, we tried Extension Ridge Trail hike near Nanaimo and can strongly recommend it to anyone. Malahat Tower is a fun place to visit, just one hour of driving from "Inn of the Sea" resort, we've been there, and were not disappointed. Will definitely stay again at Pat's place.

Jennifer and Jassie were super responsive and reached out through our stay to make sure we were doing well. The apartment was cute and clean and in a great spot to explore the city.

A beautiful place, right on the water. Loved that it had the balcony with the view of the water, we sat out and drank our morning coffee! Perfect for our little family, the heated pool with the view of the ocean was pretty fantastic. We definitely enjoyed just hanging out at the condo. Looking forward to our next visit.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Adam & Hana's place! They are indeed very friendly and helpful. A walker and cyclist's paradise, the location is so central to everything yet peaceful and quiet like in a park. Don't hesitate to book it if it's available. High recommend!

Everything was just perfect.

We spent two nights at Jane s beautiful home. The apartment fully matched the description, check in and check out were easy, everything we needed was available. The view from the apartment and the patio were fantastic. We highly recommend staying here and would love to come back one day!

Beautiful location!! Talk about waterfront, you are literally on top of the water 😊 We saw many seals and otters, geese and even Eagles on the beach eating their fish. The sound of the waves and the ocean lapping on the rocks… and the refreshing scent of the beautiful ocean air. The caretakers, Tani and her Husband were very nice and accommodating. Shiney Happy People! Thank you so much, we really enjoyed celebrating our 15 Year Anniversary at your piece of Heaven. The cabin is also very well equipped and nicely decorated!

We had 2 nights in this scenic unit. The view from the deck and lawn was beautiful, the lulling of the waves was spectacular. We enjoyed the comfy deck and utilized the BBQ. Easy stroll to coffee and restaurants.

My only comment is that is was very hard to find the place especially in the dark. Google maps took me to a neighbouring house and it was very confusing. That being said I didn’t fully ready the hosts instructions so she may have mentioned that! Wonderful place though, we would definitely stay here again.

What an amazing weekend! An absolute peaceful space with all the things you’d need to have the most relaxing getaway. Kelley was an amazing host and has done an excellent job of making the space feel like home. We will absolutely be back!
