It is a downstairs, self-contained, with its own private entrance Our location is around 18 minutes from Rotorua, the nearest supermarket for supplies is 15 minutes away, you will pass it as you drive to us from Rotorua. We don't cater for 2-10yr olds

We LOVED staying here! The view was something else. The house was super warm. All amenities were clean and the house was cosy. This was only a short drive to the Redwoods. Melanie was really responsive and we really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely little room with a great view. We went knowing it was a room on one end of someones home so no surprises (I think this may have threw some reviewers). Waking up with a coffee and the view over the lake made it so we had trouble finding the will to leave in the morning. The host was responsive and gave us our privacy also.

A compact kitchenette is displayed with neatly arranged shelves. Glass containers labeled with 'Sugar,' 'Hot Choc,' 'Coffee,' and 'Tea' sit alongside a microwave and a griddle. Bowls and plates are stacked, with additional glasses and paper towels positioned for convenience.

Hilary and Rob are fantastic hosts. Hilary is super friendly and accommodating. I simply inquired if there is a microwave at the place to heat up takeaway food (no big deal if there isn’t one), she went out of her way -and bought a brand new one before we checked in. We were amazed by her kindness and effort, we really appreciated it. The place is very peaceful with stunning view, highly recommended!
