The house is located on a headland out on the lake and has a unique lake location with lake views from all parts of the house. From the living room and bedroom, you will exit onto a wooden deck with stairs down to the garden and the jetty. It is a scenic and undisturbed location with houses nearby but not right next door. The proximity to Highway 32 makes it easy to get here. The road can be heard, but for the vast majority it is not perceived as disturbing.

Here you will find a fully-equipped kitchen with most of what you need. A small but smart bathroom with toilet and shower. Laundry room with dryer. Spacious bedroom with double bed as well as a sofa bed in the TV room. Here you live with the forest close by and two nature reserves with several hiking trails and bird lakes nearby. Occasional nights on request during the summer.

By car, the house is about 10 minutes from the nearest grocery store and about 40 minutes from Vimmerby, where Astrid Lindgren's World is available to visit. Proximity to swimming areas in Horn and Hycklinge. In the house, there are 2 bedrooms with 5 beds as well as a sofa bed in the living room with 2 beds. On the farm, there are goats, cows, ducks and cats. When the animals need to be taken care of, we will be nearby but not at the house.

Hiking trails close to the cabin. Possibility of nice fishing in beautiful Ödesjön, where you can walk in 10 minutes. There are plenty of pike and perch. It is also possible to rent a rowing boat. Enjoy the tranquility of our idyllic cottage, surrounded by nature, with a cozy fireplace and beautiful views! We offer the possibility to borrow bicycles and rent a kayak and rowing boat. You can take a short walk to buy eggs or locally produced apple cider directly from the neighboring farmer, visit cows, horses, chickens and watch deer. Now you have the opportunity to stay in our farmhouse at Grankvistgården from the 18th century in the center of Vimmerby. Access to a wonderful large garden with a gazebo and parking in the yard. Here you live centrally but privately and are close to both shops, restaurants and Astrid Lindgren's World. The house is perfect for 2 adults and 2 children as well as a smaller child as there is a crib. Alternatively, 4 adults. Bed linens and towels are not included. The guest cleans up before check-out.
