Cozy Lake Cottage at Lake Sommen

Unwind in this one-of-a-kind and quiet space. Directly by Lake Sommen is our newly renovated little house with bedroom, living room and a little kitchen. Patio under roof, jetty and beach directly outside. Summer water which means hot and cold water from the lake in the kitchen faucet and in the toilet house. New “Toahus” with shower cabin, sink and electrically powered incineration toilet. Fresh water is easily collected from the host. Bed linen and towels are included. Cleaning is not included. All guests clean up after themselves, all equipment is provided in the cabin.

Welcome to our little cottage which we call Exemption! The property is located in beautiful Småland village of Älö, 15 min from Vimmerby, ELF. Nearby are nice swimming areas. The exception is located on the outskirts of our plot, one side to a small garden with patio and the other side to an idyllic Småland cow garden. The cottage is from turn of the turn of the century and carefully renovated. Old windows, doors and floors are preserved. We who rent out the Exemption are called Elsa & Andreas, where our two children and some linen meat pigs also live here.

Vi välkomnar er att semestra i detta underbara landskap i gränslandet mellan Småland och Östergötland. Det är 40km till Astrid Lindgrens Vimmerby och 50km till Västervik. Vi bjuder på fantastisk natur med öppna landskap, stora skogar, och mysiga hagmarker. Det finns många sjöar som lämpar sig för bad och fiske. Hycklinge är ett smultronställe! Under högsäsong v26-34 önskar vi gärna hyra ut våra stugor veckovis med byte på lördagar, men undantag kan göras. Varmt välkomna med era förfrågningar!

Lugnt läge med den vilda naturen runt omkring er. 150 meter bakom stugan finns grillplats och vacker vy över sjön Sommen. Fina skogsområden med promenadstråk och vandringsleder för svamp- och bärplockning. The pond cabin is located on beautiful Asby udde. Here you live in the middle of beautiful nature with a nice view of the landscape. Large spacious porch with both day and evening sun. Covered hiking trails close to the cabin. Possibility of nice fishing in beautiful Ödesjön, where you walk in 10 minutes. There are plenty of pike and perch.
