Vacation rentals in Hopewell Junction

Our stay at Starlight Serene was everything we hoped it would be! John was very responsive and helpful, especially as this was our first time using AirBnB. The pictures are very accurate, there were plenty of towels, linens, and a VERY well equipped kitchen - much more than we expected (or I have in my own house, I think!). Lots of nice bonuses to this place - my kids loved the firepit and there was wood on hand as well as a s'mores kit; the hot tub was warm and ready when we arrived. You are at the narrower end of the lake, but still a beautiful view with plenty of wildlife. The location is great - roughly 30ish minutes to Bear Mountain, Legoland, and the Palisades Center (which had tons of rainy-day fun for kids). We even rented a pontoon boat from Murphy's Cove Marina - Richie was really wonderful to us and our kids and they loved their first time boating and fishing on the lake. This place was a breath of fresh air. I've noticed a trend on AirBNB of rentals that are obviously flipped investment properties with no character and no evidence of life: this place is the opposite! Charming, comfortable, with hosts who actually know the area and live in the area. This is a great family option when visiting the surrounding Hudson Valley towns. I hope I can get back here soon!

fantastic host and super helpful whenever we had questions. my wife left her iPad there and they mailed it back. verry appreciative of that. first time using a wood fired sauna- I was skittish at first, but it was a great amenity. hot tub was clean and worked well as well. would definitely recommend if you're eyeing a rustic retreat.

Loved the beautiful mountain views through the large windows or while enjoying the full sized deck. Three large bedrooms were great accommodations for our three couples. Very clean, very roomy and homey feel with lots of attention to the details that make for a smooth stay, Great kitchen facilities - meals were easy. Lots of “hanging out “ space perfect for spending relaxing time together. Loved playing the old vinyl records and board games. Key cabin location enables rapid access to so many activities and sites to see. So happy we chose the Fratt Lodge. We cant wait to come back!

Brian was such a great host, extremely responsive to any questions, and his place is amazing. Views of the lake are scenic, and the house was immaculate and well equipped with everything you would need. Would highly recommend - my wife and I (and our corgi) had a great time.

Sally responded to questions right away. She was really attentive - making sure snow was cleared and ice salted so that we could leave early in the morning after a big snow storm. The place was really conveniently located 15 minutes from ski Butternut. And it was immaculately clean and so cozy. It was a really nice stay.

FENCED. YARD!! Apart from the clean, spacious, well appointed home, the yard was the best part. And it wasn’t just boring and flat and grassy-think boulders for climbing and jumping, hills for racing, “secret passageways” for exploring. Just be prepared to look for ticks. Clearly an excellent choice for families with children, and our dog loved it most. The home has lots of character, good books to read, games for passing time. While venturing out for hikes, we enjoyed the views along the windy roads with charming homes and mountain scenery. The kitchen had so many pots and pans and plenty of dishes. Lillian was always responsive and quick. Good choice for a peaceful getaway.

This was the best Airbnb I ever stayed in , very clean , perfect location, easy to get in , it really was Great i recommend this place to anyone comming skiing/ snowboarding for a couple days

We had a great time staying in this beautiful and comfortable space. It had everything we could hope for and was perfectly clean. The air felt and smelled fresh as we walked in the door. It was spacious and well appointed with extras like condiments, games and puzzles. There was a dog gate and potty bags in case we brought our pets. We didn’t bring ours this time but might in the future because we definitely want to stay here again. There were plenty of clean linens and the shampoo, conditioner and body wash were great. The coffee was delicious and there was tea too. We didn’t use the air fryer, but it was nice to have that and the gas stove in case we wanted to cook. Thank you for a great stay!
