Great place, great piano, lovely details when it came to amenities and home utilities. Not complicated to reach and easy to communicate with. Definitely look forward to returning. Strongly recommend つくしんぼ, a small izakaya restaurant just 2-3 minutes from the house.

Our stay at Sofil Hakodate was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had in Japan. The location is convenient if you have a car—about a 15‑minute walk to Hakodate Station—and it comes with one parking spot (our compact car barely fit without the trunk sticking out). The interior was clean and well equipped, and the bedding was super comfortable. We also got complimentary Hokkaido snacks and wine. Overall, it was a very pleasant four‑night stay, and I’m glad I booked here

Our family (two adults, three kids), had a great night’s stay! The kids didn’t want to leave all the toys and games. The beds were comfortable, and everything was very clean. We recommend it to anyone staying in Hakodate!

Very good stay!The host was very friendly and informed us of the check-in details and methods the day before, and also reminded us of safety on snowy days!The very warm🥹 room is very clean and cozy, and there are instructions in English for the use of the facilities.The tatami was comfortable to sleep on and the soft was very warm!!!

Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, it was about a 10-minute walk to the Hakodate Mountain Ropeway.You can also walk to Lucky Pierrot, and the location is very good. The inside was spacious, clean, and we had a very pleasant time.The bed was especially fluffy and I slept well. Communication with the owner was also smooth.

I wish I could have stayed longer at this place! I was expecting a nice house to stay in, but arrived to a wonderful home with a large kitchen, two large bedrooms, and great living space, and even a projector room which we used every night! There are signs everywhere explaining how to use amenities, including the bidet and washing machine. Plenty of heaters all around make the space warm quickly. The only downside of this place is perhaps the location, it’s a bit far away from the main center of town. However it’s easily accessible vis the city’s street car just a few blocks away, and walking is super easy, so this complaint is truly very minor. Highly recommend this space for anyone staying in Hakodate, and I would definitely choose it for myself again if I ever find my way back :)

Accommodation exceeded expectations, Place was wider than expected, Everything you need is provided, It was a very comfortable stay, very clean and tidy, Have a great two nights What's lacking in the US is that the sensor light at the main entrance seems to have a time system? Coming back at night will be pitch black😅 As well as the batteries for the cooking stove are running out, but we were able to fix it in the middle of the night with our own way But still very happy to stay in this cozy new and clean homestay

Host was great! Friendly and responsive. Apartment was clean and exactly as advertised. It had everything I needed for a longer stay, it was also quiet and warm. A car is recommended for more mobility as the closest convenience store is a 20 minute walk but it's extremely close to the airport. Highly recommend!

If you have a car and traveling in a group of 5 or 6, this is a great location. Free and private parking for 2 cars just in front of the house, and the house is spacious. Separate toilet and bathroom, so no congestion. The house is located near seafront, 10 minutes drive to Hakodate train station, morning market and Hakodate peak. Facilities are relatively new.

Yukiko’s home is in a great location close to Hakodate and a nice base for exploring Onuma Park. The home is beautiful and well stocked with everything you would want for a family vacation. We hope to return again.
