Vacation rentals in Hjälmaren

This place is just perfect! It has its "private" lake and also the location is perfect because it's close to different nice places. Kitchen and bathroom are small but well equipped. There are also many different places to have food out- and inside. The hosts (Susanne & Gilbert) are just perfect! They are very kind and really love to help with everything!

Very nice and cozy accommodation where we are happy to return. Solveig is a very good host who is nice, helpful and responds quickly to your questions. Recommended!

We enjoyed ourselves very much in these nice cabins in the middle of the countryside, it was somewhat long in our opinion to go down to the lake for a swim during the sauna, but otherwise it was as we expected.

We had a wonderful vacation at the Andersson family's house! It was our first vacation in Sweden and also our first experience with Airbnb. Communication with Åke and his children was extremely friendly and helpful. We felt incredibly comfortable in your home and you made us feel welcome. The house is exactly how you imagine a Swedish home! Very cozy and hyggelig :) Our kids loved it too and we were all sad when we had to go home again. This vacation was certainly the most beautiful, relaxing and harmonious we have ever had! We would really love to come back! We had a wonderful stay in the house near the lake. The place was even better than in the pictures (new furniture in the living room and on the sun terrace). The place is very quite and beautiful, thus you would need a car to go to the supermarket etc. Bikes and a boat were also available. We would recommend the place :)

Very homely cottage with associated modern guest house that together was well suited for our party of 9 people. We were unlucky with the weather, but the cabin was so good in itself that it didn't matter that it was the most time in time. (Good living areas, clean and fresh.) Incredibly beautiful beach that we despite the weather went to - about a 10-minute walk through cozy area. The children also appreciated the sheep that you could pet in the nearby pasture. We also appreciated the clear instructions/manual as well as the nice helpful response from the host Ulrika. Very happy!

Really great house, in a calm area but still close to very beautiful spots in Sweden. The house was very big and full of comforts, with a beautiful and wide garment facing the forest, so that you can enjoy your trip at the best. The house was also 5-10 Min far (by walk) from a lake. In general the experience was great, and the host has been really helpful about everything, very nice and proactive, it's 100% suggested!

Very nice owners and a fantastic house in a beautiful place with super good equipment and many amenities. The house is fully equipped with high quality things and comfortable beds. I recommend this place and the owners 100%. We had an amazing week there with family during the winter, and I suspect it's even better in the summer.
