Waterfront vacation rentals in Hiroshima

We stayed for two nights. The location is excellent, a quick walk along the river to the Peace Memorial Park and Museum. You can walk 15 minutes or take the tram to the downtown area, where the okonomiyaki restaurants are located. There’s a fancy coffee shop, Archive, around the corner and a 7-11 a couple of blocks away. The apartment worked well for our group of 4. It was clean, comfortable enough, and we had a nice view of the river from the 8th floor.

Instructions were clear. Easy check in. Comfy beds - great duvets. Nice kitchen with decent plates and cutlery. Good location.

Die Unterkunft ist großzügig geschnitten und gut gelegen. Die Innenstadt ist zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Ausstattung ist umfangreich und alles sehr sauber. wir können die Unterkunft empfehlen.

this is a fantastic place to stay. this has been my second time in Naka-ku and it's the best area for Hiroshima sightseeing and transportation. thank you very much, I loved it

We LOVED staying at Haru's place. After all the cramped places it was so nice to have 3 separate rooms. They were all so nicely decorated with nightlights. We loved how warm and homey it was. The bathroom had so many amenities like qtips, facewash, and sponges. The location was perfect. Quick walk to Seven Eleven. Very close to the dome and parks. Close to the river. It exceeded out expectations and we would love to stay again.

I was very lucky to get this place for 3 weeks straight. Look out and you see the river, even the hills. Small balcony. Hang your towel and clothes. Shared washing machine. It is small but so comfy and convenient. Hiroaki answers any request right away. The building is quiet. Close to Yokogawa station and all transport lines. Loved it. Felt in a community outside.

Très bon logement pour un court séjour à Hiroshima. Comme le dit certains commentaires, le décor est assez vieillot, mais tout est là et parfait pour une personne seule. Le lit est très confortable. L'emplacement est parfait, à deux pas des berges avec une magnfiique promenade piétonne. C'est facile pour aller explorer Hiroshima et l'île de Miyajima (prendre le train à Yokogawa station). J'ai aimé mon séjour et Hiroaki est une super hôte qui répond rapidement aux messages.

Hiroaki is a very friendly host! We were even able to leave our bags before the check in! Definitely recommend this accommodation and 10/10 would visit again! 🫶🏼 also a great Okonomiyaki place neat by. 😇

Wunderschöne Unterkunft in einem gemütlichen kleinen Dorf. Das Zimmer (Honori) war perfekt in dem traditionellen japanischen Stil mit den Tatami Matten und viel Holz. Wir hatten einen Schreibtisch im Zimmer an dem sich mit Blick auf die Felder ruhig arbeiten lässt. Man nutzt Gemeinschaftstoiletten und Gemeinschaftsduschen, aber alles ist so ordentlich, sauber und angenehm gemacht, dass es absolut kein Problem ist. Der Gastgeber ist super sympathisch und hilfreich. Wir konnten kostenlos zwei Fahrräder benutzen, um die Insel zu erkunden. Auch das Café direkt neben dem Guesthouse ist super. Sehr leckerer Käsekuchen und guter Kaffee. Wir wären gerne noch viel länger geblieben. Wer einen ruhigen Ort ohne viele Touristen sucht, der sollte auf jeden Fall hierherkommen. Auch sehr einfach von Hiroshima mit der Fähre zu erreichen. Straßenbahn, Fähre, kurzer Fußweg und schon ist man dort.

Un grand merci pour ce séjour inoubliable à Etajima ! L’accueil a été exceptionnel : nous avons immédiatement été intégrés à une ambiance chaleureuse et bienveillante. Nos hôtes nous ont proposé de partager un délicieux repas avec eux, et nous ont même invités à un barbecue le soir avec leurs amis. C’était un moment très convivial, rempli de rires, de discussions et de bonne humeur. L’établissement était confortable, et l’environnement propice à la détente. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. J’espère revenir très bientôt pour revivre cette belle expérience humaine. Encore merci pour tout !

We had a great stay, perfect and quiet location just around the corner from the Peace Park. The room was cozy and had everything we needed, loved the beds. Had a really good sleep. Next door is an amazing bagel shop that sells out quickly. The host was very kind and responsive and even sent our forgotten items to our Tokyo hotel. Many thanks!

Host was super helpful and kind even driving us to a supermarket a drive away when we didn’t bring food and he checked in with us again later in the evening. We were there in January winter but during public holidays so we got caught out with no local supermarket or restaurants open so make sure you bring enough food for dinner.
