Great stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and just as described in the listing. The host was responsive and helpful throughout the stay. The location was convenient and made it easy to explore the area. Would definitely recommend to others and would be happy to stay again!

The home is lovely and spacious, and we enjoyed spreading out after all of the cramped hotel rooms in Tokyo. Taxis had a difficult time finding the site, but it is very close to a train station, as another plus. If you are coming to Osaka for the World Expo or Universal Studios, be aware that your travel visa public transportation is approximately 1.5 hours each way to these sites. Bruce is very responsive and a wonderful host, and we felt welcomed during our enjoyable stay. As a family group, the house was perfect for our needs.

Previously booked this airbnb after a friend booked a similar airbnb next door to the current one last year when i came to Osaka. Really convenient and good pricing for an airbnb as its a few minutes walk from Shin-Osaka Station. Overall a good experience too since they have amenities which are able to accommodate the trip for me and my friends and a host which is responsive and friendly to our needs

The place was wonderful, and description was perfect. It was walking distance to food, massage, and close to train station. I highly recommend if you are visiting Kyoto.

It is a gorgeous place located really close to Inari shrine and plenty of Izakayas. We had a lot of fun staying here as a group of friends.

It's easy to get to from JR Woji Station. It was comfortable to stay with the kids. There's a grocery store nearby, so it's okay to buy a simple meal. All the restaurants nearby were nice, and there were so many cafes that you could choose from. It was a good experience staying as a traveler. I want to visit again if I get the chance:)

The guesthouse is beautiful -- probably the most aesthetically pleasing one we've stayed in during our time in Japan. The location is also excellent, and does provide a gateway to much of what Ikoma has to offer.

Great place and friendly host . They’ve provided free snacks and drinks. They’ve given us free car ride to the nearest station. Definitely would recommend this place for a peaceful stay.

The process of communicating with the landlord was smooth and honest due to the change in the number of guests. After checking in, we found that the room was cleaner and tidier than in the pictures, and it was the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. We have planned to prioritize this room the next time we travel to Lake Biwa, and we hope to be able to book it.

Sakaean is a special home. It provided a traditional Kyoto home with modern amenities. It’s a family home passed down through generations. The host spent years traveling internationally and incorporated her experiences in the home that provided us a great experience. The host was very helpful with tourist advice and even booked dinner reservations at a traditional restaurant that only spoke Japanese.

Mamoru’s wonderful traditional Japanese l home Nachiya was the highlight of our trip. We loved the traditional Japanese aesthetics and had a wonderful stay! The home was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and in a great location. The check-in process was smooth, and the host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were comfortable, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches like coffee, drinks & snacks, and local recommendations. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We loved our stay here in Kyoto. It was in a great location close to a train station which made our site seeing travel extremely easy. The house itself was very clean and cosy. It had everything we needed. Thank you again for our stay!

The home was beautiful and worked for my family of 5. The host provided a nice assortment of refreshments in the refrigerator which was nice to have after our short walk from the station. My wife and I used the bedroom on the ground floor. The bed was very comfy and it was private from the main sleeping area upstairs where our children slept. The kitchen could work for a meal but there are many restaurants close by. One night. We ate at “the perfect” restaurant one block away….you pass by it from the train station. If you really want to experience a neighborhood restaurant, I recommend. It wasn’t until we started translating the menu that I realized the sign out front wasn’t advertising yakatori specials…but all you can drink specials. lol! It was loud, fun, a little smoky and the food was good and authentic. Get the sashimi course. The sauna and plunge pool was amazing to have at the end of each day too! Bicycle rental shop and 7-11 are steps away.
