House vacation rentals in Hillsborough County

This place is simply incredible. A vintage mid century modern gem overlooking a lovely farm with mountains on the horizon. The pictures don't do it justice. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked with everything you could desire to host large family get togethers. Philip was extremely responsive and friendly throughout. My only regret is not knowing how to play the piano. We can't wait to come back in the warmer months to see the farm and garden in full effect. 10/10 recommend.

Great stay overall — just be mindful of seasonal comfort! We had a lovely time at this beautiful property — it’s well-maintained, peaceful, and has a lot of charm. The host was responsive and check-in was easy. Just a heads-up for future guests: the property has seasonal settings, so you’ll either get heat or A/C depending on the time of year, not both. It made things a bit uncomfortable during a weather transition, but manageable. Still, the beauty and uniqueness of the space definitely made up for it. Would recommend with that one caveat in mind!

Host was friendly and helpful. House is located in an area close to a great grocery store and lots of shopping. It,s also not far from the mountains for those who want to leaf peep in the fall. The house is cozy and has everything you could want, just have to bring yourselves.

The home was a great value and in a great spot. Very nice neighborhood. The home itself is perhaps more impressive than even the pictures show. Robert was very accommodating and responsive.

Great stay! House was clean and spacious for our party of 8. We had everything we needed for our weekend stay in January. We traveled with our twin 18 month olds and had access to playpens and a high chair for which I was very grateful! They even had some books and legos for the kids to play with!

Stepping Stones is a treasure of a home. It’s an authentic colonial era homestead with a lot of amazing history. The grounds and setting are bucolic. We loved feeding the chickens our scraps and collecting fresh eggs. The pool was a delight. There’s so much space for a large gathering of friends and family to feel at home and still each have our own personal space. Be prepared for normal old home quirks like uneven floors and basic bathrooms. But the plumbing works just fine, the kitchen is well equipped, there are ac’s in all the bedrooms to keep things comfortable on hot nights. We didn’t need them most of the time, though. The WiFi is great. Boo is the most welcoming host. 100% would recommend!!!

We had such a great time here even in the winter! Pats peak is 20 minutes away so we did some skiing and had a nice clean, warm home to come back to! Thanks Laura and Hanna!

Nilene’s home was exactly as listed. A new, spotless l, beautifully decorated home on a private lot overlooking a lake and waterfall. It was very peaceful. The home had everything you need but was clutter free. My kids and I were very comfortable. Nilene was also very responsive. I definitely recommend visiting her home and hope to return!

My family stayed there and found it well set up and plenty of space for children and adults. Great location , easuyto get to, well equippted , good beds. For our occasion we could not have had anything better.

We were delighted with the property and it was perfect for my wife and I. The house is small but the use of space is excellent. There is ample living space, bedrooms, dining and kitchen. The space seems bigger because it flow out onto a patio that connects to a veranda. There is even a fire pit if you are so in inclined. We had meals outside and enjoyed the adirondack chairs on the dock. They provided kayaks that we used everyday, the lake was like glass and so peaceful. Nearby are plenty of restaurants. We also ventured to Peterborough and to a local apple orchard for picking apples and freshly made cider donuts. This stay exceeded expectations.

We stayed here for a bachelorette weekend in the woods (but not too far from civilization), and it was perfect! Plenty of linens and pillows and lots of space. It was too cold to make use of the gorgeous lake on the property but the hot tub and fire pit were great in the chilly weather. We wished there were more paper towels, kitchen towels, and trash bags. We had a lot of meals at the house to clean up after and single-use decor to throw away. If you’re planning to stay here, make sure you don’t turn into the condo community before you go through the gate! A few of our gps’s took us to a weird spot. We will definitely keep this house on our list of favorite spots!!

Lovely historic home in a super cute area. My only suggestion is that if you’re coming for snowboarding/winter activities, make you come prepared with food because a lot of nearby restaurants and markets shut down due to the weather. I have nothing bad to say about the house, neighborhood, or town, just something worth noting! Very close and convenient to Crotched Mtn.

This was a great spot to relax and recharge for a couple days. Prior to my visit, I stocked up on groceries and did not leave until checkout. It was peaceful to just sit on the deck in the warm weather and watch the ice begin to melt on the river. I would definitely return, even in the winter/early spring as it is a great place to enjoy some quiet and a good view.

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Boathouse Suite for a weekend and had a wonderful time! The space is adorable, the scenery is beautiful, and it is exactly as described— rustic chic. Donna Lee was an incredible host; she was so responsive and helpful, and gave great recommendations for things to do in the surrounding area. Donna Lee was also so accommodating and kind when a storm forced us to hunker down for an extra night. The Boathouse Suite was exactly what we were looking for, and I cannot recommend it enough! Thanks Donna Lee!

This home was sparkling clean when we arrived. It is in a great location close to downtown shops and restaurants. We had a minor issue with the thermostat and Kyle had someone over within an hour to fix it. He responded quickly to all our questions and was a great host. Will definitely be back for our next visit.

This place was absolutely amazing and everything i was hoping it would be. Spacious, comfortable, and well furnished without being clustered or tight. Would recommended 100 times out of 100. Hoping to get back this summer to make use of the charming backyard and firepit.

Pictures do not do this place justice. The home was perfect, and included everything we wanted. Our only wish is that we got to enjoy this longer. Wendy was great and answered all of our questions. 10/10 would recommend again

Cheng was a great host! Always responsive with clear instructions and guidelines. I appreciate all of the details and didn’t have any troubles with check-in, during my stay, nor with check-out. If I’m ever in the area again, I’d definitely stay again!

really enjoyed the peaceful setting inside and out. kitchen had all you will need for any meal. dining room had plenty of sun for waking up too.
