Woollen blankets, feather sofa, antique Scandinavian log burner, king-size bed with French linen & down, waterfall shower, & the softest towels. Our sleepy Devon hamlet is only lit by stars at night. Historical Heritage Listed Mill and smallholding

The property is part of an English Heritage Listed water mill that used to grind corn ,and this part used to be the Millers' home- the host lives next door in the converted mill.Sadly the water wheel long gone,but the mill pit survives and sympathetic renovations ensures the character of this unique and lovely ancient building remain.If you love quirky old buildings with antique furniture ,stone walls and beams- and friendly sheep,this is the place for you!-( 4 people max.)

Lower Netherton - cosy shepherd's hut

Our bespoke and lovingly constructed shepherd's hut is close to Newton Abbot, the beautiful village of Shaldon and the coast. Only 1.7 miles from the railway station. The hut consists of an elevated double bed, sink, fridge with a small freezer compartment and cooking facilities, with separate toilet and shower. You can relax with a book inside, or light the fire pit/ BBQ outside and enjoy some quiet space to yourself whist gazing at the stars.
