Our stay was wonderful! Extremely clean and the host is extremely kind and always responsive. The place looks as listed if not better and the home is spacious. Thank you so much for the stay and for your hospitality!

I can’t wait to come again and stay longer. That is all that has to be said about this acommodation. Beautiful location, the space outside and inside is amazing. Felt like at home from the first second I arrived. Also the host is amazing, friendly and very helpful.

Ah we had such a lovely (but short) time at Tomi’s house. It has such a feeling of home and a charm to it! We only stayed one night and so didn’t get to use the outside area or the surroundings sadly but the home itself was just perfect for us. Unlike a lot of air b and b’s which feel like a hotel, this had a real homey feel, with manga books and guitars and a very well stocked kitchen! I’d definitely stay here if you are considering it. Also I must say Tomi was so incredibly kind - gave us so much help with recommendations which were spot on! Thank you

It's a very nice house, clean and convenient for who is doing the Kumano Kodo trail. The place is perfect for a short stay, the bus stop is 3min away. But be aware if you're planing to go to town the last bus to get back is at around 17:30. There is a restaurant near by but hours doesn't help much. Motoe has you covered as she has filled the house with snacks and drinks to buy at a reasonable price and also kindly offered to take us to the nearest supermarket. It is a great place to spend the night.

What are great place to relax, nothing but nature - a babbling brook and and super tall tress. Its was the perfect place to end our hike. Lots of amenities in the house and host is a really really nice person. Clean and new.

Tone and Kimi are wonderful hosts and they have a lovely family. The house is beautiful and peaceful, and in a great location for accessing the Kumano Kodo trail. Tone and Kimi went above and beyond by helping with transportation and made us feel right at home. We hope to stay at Yakio house again and would highly recommend Yakio house to future travelers!

We had a lovely stay at Yusuke's spacious home in Shingu. There was plenty of room. The location makes it easy to get around the beautiful town, and the access to bicycles was a plus!

Really beautiful place to stay, and the onsen was perfect! Had all the amenities and everything was clean and easy to use! Conveniently located near many great locations like Nachi Falls. Thank you again, we definitely recommend this place!

Kenji's home was spacious and incredibly clean. It was exactly as described. When we arrived, we met Kenji's mother who showed us how to enter the place. She also walked us through the home and demonstrated how to use the hot water and A/C unit. She was incredibly helpful! My partner and I stayed in Shingu to hike the Koguchi-goe and Ogumotori-goe trails for two days. We started our day by walking to the nearby bus stops and traveling to the trailheads. Because of the home's location, we were also able to finish our days at local restaurants. We plan to stay here again in the future!
