Family-friendly vacation rentals in Heves County

We spent our Christmas at this home…which did feel as home. As a big family, 15 people it was just right. There was privacy in the Ensuite rooms and the common areas were big and great for time together. We did little walks in the town which is tiny and peaceful, great if you fancy to get away from the busy and noisy city life during the festive season. The sauna and jacuzzi were amazing during the cold days and we enjoyed every day there. It was an amazing holiday with the family at this place. :)

Nice place to stay, lots of space, beautiful garden with bathing pond. There's a car to commute for attractions and food, but that wasn't a problem. The yard is shared with 2 other apartments. Parking in the yard is a bit natesno, but it can be. The house is a little damp, but it doesn't overheat even on warm days.

We are very satisfied with the accommodation and have received what we expected. The apartment is very cozy, the host is very friendly and helpful. We had a great time and would love to come back.

Very nice and stylish apartment in the heart of Eger. Everything is about a 5-10 minute walk away: The Castle, the center, the thermal bath... Quiet and very peaceful (so to say cozy) street! :) Thank you for being there for 4 nights! I would go back anytime... I think I will ;)

We spent a few days in a beautiful neighborhood, thoughtful and fantasyly renovated farmhouse. The Dorks welcomed me, and we even got a delicious pizza from the oven. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get out of the daily squirrel wheel in a really family atmosphere, close to nature. A special plus is that our four-legged child was able to come, and all the baby supplies were available for the two-legged.

We were very happy and comfortable at Anna’s place. Everything was as advertised. It is well located to stroll around the city. Anna was very responsive and shared some great recommendations for the area. We would happily stay there again.

There were two of us visiting the house and everything went well. The kitchen can be a little chilly in the winter, but it didn't bother us at all. Our rest was nice and comfortable.

We felt right at home and the kitty.

All was good. The house is comfy, all needed was there. The front and back terrace was very useful, one of them was in the sun, the other in the shadow. The area is very quiet, perfect for resting. Close to entrance to the pools, so I was going there already dressed in bathrobe :-) Also, there was no problem in communication with Gabriela in written english.

Klara's place is a home with a soul. You'll find there everything you might need and much more from the zen vibe and history. The house is located on the top of the hill, so it looks over the entire Eger and mountains on the horizon. Interior is very well thought, planned and constructed. It was just us two and a dog, but the place can easily fit more people. The kitchen is extremely well equipped (along with a welcoming bottle of wine from the host!). There are 3types of coffee makers, even espresso machine with portafilter! The house was very clean and the bedsheets smelled with freshness. The host's son showed us around, was kind and helpful, but the place provides the privacy we needed. There is plenty of little things that make this place exeptional and I wouldn't be able to fit them all in here. If we come back to Eger, this place will become our home again. Highly recommended!

A fabulous getaway. I loved the location with the rolling hills, incredible sunsets, breezy nights, long nature walks, night campfires, nearby castles. The rooms and amenities are so good though, you may not even leave. There are hammocks, lounge chairs and all kinds of outdoor spaces to relax and chill, read, have a drink. Dorka is a fabulous cook & host and she will make you a superb meal and/or drink too if you choose to stay in & enjoy all that the property has or come back to a hearty & healthy home-cooked meal. And Dorka is seriously as everyone else has said in their reviews, the absolute nicest person ever. She went over & above to make my stay wonderful and she is just a really kind hearted & caring person. Thank you Dorka for sharing your little peace of paradise with me & thank you for your company and friendship. Oh, and thank you for coordinating my new summer look! 💛

It's a very nice place!

Amazing place for families and groups in very peaceful surroundings. The house is amazing, well equipped, the sauna and the swimming pool was a cherry on the top for us. We spent great family evenings at the fire pit and truly enjoyed it all. The host was very friendly and responsive to any of our queries. Thank you for having us. Hopefully we will be back soon.

Nico and Anita are great hosts. There is plenty of land to explore on the property, with ponies, dogs, chickens and horses to see! Great for an animal lover. The outside seating areas are also really fun for social time. Two hour drive from Budapest, perfect for family/ group of friends who want to retreat to somewhere quiet The swimming pool and table tennis table alongside there lovely dogs and pony Mimi made it a really fun stay. Would certainly recommend definitely!

We spent an amazing week at this beautiful place. The house is fabulous, spacious and very well equipped. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms were clean and the kitchen was decent sized. The outdoor area was out of this world.. absolutely stunning! The pool had the perfect size and the outdoor bbq and sitting area were amazing too. Honestly, can’t recommend this place and the host enough. We will definitely be returning here next year.

Lake Tisza is a real insider tip. It's not crowded, but there's plenty to do. We are paddled with a kayak on the wonderfully quiet lake. The rental is only a few hundred meters south of the neighborhood. The eco center is also highly recommended. Especially the outdoor facilities. When will you get sturks and cranes so close? In Hortobagy National Park, be sure to take the narrow-gauge railway to the fish ponds. Afterwards, we recommend staying at the Csarda in Hortobagy. In Erlau (Eger) it is worth a trip to the winery Bolyki, which is not located in the valley of the beautiful women. Just google. In the middle of the quarry. Very friendly service. After that or before, stop at Stühmer. Great ice! -- Will be canceled. Our daughter wanted to do an internship right away. South of Poroszlo, Sarud has the opportunity to bathe on a shaken-in sandy beach in the lake. Very authentic and recommended. That's why it's important to use the property's bikes. And one more note: The small cheese rolls in the bakery on the main road are great, as are the yeast braid, the rolls, etc. For shopping, otherwise it is best to go to Tiszafüred to Lidl/Penny/Spar. The local Coop will help out in case of emergency.
